From a very early age I was insecure about how small my chest was as I'm fairly certain it hadn't developed past the sixth grade. I was a competitive dancer all my life so adding extra padding to all my costumes, never exposing my bony chest, etc were the types of measures I took to complete my feminine appeal on the dance floor. I always talked up the idea of breast implants. I barely filled out a 34 A and really wanted a nice full breast. Not many people were willing to support me and would argue with me and I was denied any line of credit due to my young age. I saved for a couple of years and went to a few consultations when I finally met with Dr. Marcel Ghersi in April 2014. From his level of cool and collected professionalism I was able to select him as my surgeon. He charmed me with his knowledge and understanding for my expectation. Ghersi took careful measurements, listened to me and explored my options with me. That day we decide to go with a 425cc high profile silicone implant. That would give me a full C - small D given my proportions. I paid his office that day up front and booked my surgery date for July. Come July I was overly excited counting down the days to my surgery.... I did however decide to change the implant size to 400cc after chatting with a few people. I can't say I regret that now but anyone post breast aug will tell you the wish they'd gone bigger. Surgery day: I was so excited that I did not even feel much pain. My results almost seemed perfect from the first day. The discomfort was very mild although I did take most of the pain killers prescribed to me mostly for night time to get some sleep. I remained more active than I probably should have as my boyfriend had a week off with me to care for me post op. It was a really nice week in July so we went for walks, museums, etc. I was able to do a lot more than I thought. A week after my surgery Ghersi saw me and was equally pleased with my results. For my two week post op I was told I looked more like a month post op which made me feel amazing. It's now been just under 4 months since I've had my surgery. I am a 34 D in Victoria's Secret bras and 34DD with more European cut designers. My breasts look pretty natural and are very soft like a real breast. I am 5'8" and about 135lbs with a slim/athletic build. I am really obsessed with my results. If I ever decide to go bigger it would only be with Dr. Ghersi and I would go to a 475-500cc implant for a true DD and a bit more cleavage. In the meantime I cannot complain at all. The results I've had are incredible!
