Finally had my TT done 5/26. Only regret? Why didn't I do this sooner?! I originally wanted a TT with lipo on the flanks and muscle repair. After examining me, Dr Daniels advice me muscle repair wasn't needed and I could always get lipo at a later time if I needed it. So had my TT with no muscle repair and I'm beyond satisfied with the results.

Thank you! Well I've made it through my first week yay! The first 3 4 days were the hardest, there's not a lot of pain, but more like discomfort. My drains are still in and they are killing me, I have a follow up appointment with my doctor tomorrow so I hope they come off, I feel healing will get a lot easier once they come off. I read your posts and I can relate with the swelling feeling in the afternoons, it's so uncomfortable :( but overall I would do it again in a heartbeat! By the way you look awesome!

Wonderful, glad to hear you are doing so well.  Yeah, the drains are a big pain in the tush.  Mine felt very irritating and burning.  I was so glad to have them pulled out.  You will feel like a new woman, with a new sense of freedom once they are gone.

The afternoons are the worst  at this stage, you get so tight and uncomfortable.  That will ease up with some more time.  Hang on and take good care of yourself for a while.  Check back in often so that I know how you are doing.

After drains came out a week and a half later, pus started oozing from one of the drains incisions and doc diagnosed me with a cellulitis infection :( I was put on really strong antibiotics and was able to drain me through the drain incision so there was no need to reopen my wound. 3 and half weeks PO and I feel a lot better however I am exhausted after only running an errand. I can stand straight but I can't walk straight and I'm returning to work next week. Any suggestions on how to expedite the walking straight part?

You look great! I'm thinking about not getting lipo either. I think I will heal faster.

Thank you! :)
I originally wanted lipo but doctor convinced me otherwise due to blood flow and recuperating time, I'm so glad I listened to him, I've read so many stories here where ladies have done lipo and TT and the pain from lipo is worse than the pain from TT.
Best wishes!

Thats what I think too. I feel like under all this skin, I have a nice shape, I can work out in the gym afterwards. I think that swollen and bruising from lipo, just seems horrible. Plus I also want to heal quicker.

I just had a TT with lipo of hips, flanks and bra roll on June 17th. It will be one week tomorrow. The TT definitely hurts more than the lipo bruising. If you can get through the first two nights of your abs hurting from the muscle repair, then you will probably be fine with the lipo. Each patient is different...ask for your doctor's opinion. Personally, I am so happy that I added the vaser lipo bc it smoothed everything and made those areas tighter. Good luck!
