Hi everyone! I have been reading post and reviews on this site for several months now and figured I needed to start posting. My surgery is scheduled for 3/25, so right around the corner. I am very nervous. But reading all of your posts has helped me tremendously.
I have needed this procedure since the birth of my 8.8lb son in 1994. I had just turned 18 and was still very much a kid. My weight when I became pregnant was 101 and my weight when I gave birth was 158! It took a while to lose the weight, but I eventually made it back to 103. However, my stomach never did recover from the trauma. When I was pregnant no one told me that I was supposed to moisturize my tummy or anything. Back then, I was pretty much alone... Fast forward to today and I have gained some pounds back. I’m not unhappy with that. Honestly, I feel my pictures at 103 are too skinny. I am currently 42 and weigh 132lbs, give or take 5. I have a very supportive husband that loves me unconditionally. We have been married for 19 years! Woohoo ??
This past year I decided not to go back to work (I was a teacher). So now I finally have the time to do some “me” things. I had actually given up on the idea of a tummy tuck until a few months ago. But now I am scheduled and the surgery is barely over a week away!
I am getting a little scared and these crazy thoughts keep popping into my head. I am hoping that by writing and reading posts my mind will stay clear and focused on the end picture and what I have been dreaming of for 24 years.
These pictures look terrible, but this is what I could take by myself. I look forward to hearing from anyone out there that is about to have surgery. I could use a surgery pal lol.

Hi everyone, so I am down to 7 days! Woohoo ????!!!!! The days are flying by super fast now. Last night was the final rodeo night in Houston and we went to see George Strait. It was awesome!!!! I did have a pinacolada and some red wine ????????. I hope that I didn’t compromise my surgery or recovery.
Anyway, so this week I plan to get everything ready. I bought an electric lift recliner, a serving cart to put by it and a toilet lifter lol. I am sure these will come in handy. I also got a grabber to help reach for things. I need to buy some food for next week, but I just can’t figure out what all I need. I think I am going to go for jello and soups. Let me know if y’all have any ideas or what you ate the 1st week.
I also posted some better before pictures. I have decided to also get liposuction on my outer thighs. I am worried about that pain...

Hi all! Well I had my surgery this morning!!! I was so scared, but they gave me a margarita cocktail and I calmed down and went to sleep. I don’t even remember them wheeling me down the hall. I woke up in no pain because I had the exparel shot. That is very, very, very worth it!!!!!! I honestly hurt more in my legs where I had the lipo than my tummy. I cannot express enough how happy I am that the surgery went well. I was so worried...
I am about to go to bed, but I will try to update with some pictures tomorrow! I Finally made it over to the flat side !!!!! ????????????????????
Love to all,
Tina
