So very happy with the outcome of my surgery. I’m breathing and sleeping better. Having less migraines and headaches, and I feel 100% better about my appearance. Dr. Miller and his team did an excellent job.

Overall rating

Dr. Miller and his team have been great. They have stepped me through the entire process start to finish and have been very attentive to my needs. My husband had to call the office for me a few times the first few days after surgery due to pain, discomfort, pressure, etc. that I was having and they took care of every concern and need right away to help keep me as comfortable as possible while recovering.

You look great. What do they do when it’s a turbinate reduction? Do you still have swelling off and on? I have surgery in 3 weeks for a septo and rhinoplasty. Any advice you can give me? Not sure how old you are but I am 54. I wish I had done this years ago.
Hi, Thank you! I’m 36 years old and I too wish I had done this 10 years so! With the turbinate reduction they reduce the size of the turbinates inside. I always say the turbinates are like the “tonsils” of your nose. When you have big turbinates, they can block your airways. I do still get swelling off and on causing some stuffiness. Healing took several months. It was a lot more uncomfortable than I expected. I took about 2 weeks off of work, but it took much longer to heal. Lots of swelling and tenderness. The removal of the packing was awful and very painful. I would have someone one home with you to help care for you the first several days. All in all it was worth everything!!! I’m so happy with my results!
Thanks I appreciate the information. Do you think 2 weeks was long enough to be off from work?
Sorry I missed this post. Did you have your surgery? How are you healing?
Lovely feminine result x
Thank you!! So glad I did this!
Hi I had my surgery Oct 8th - rhinoplasty and septoplasty plus turbinates reduced, tonsils, uvula and soft palate removed. All this because of obstructive sleep apnea. The rhinoplasty was to fix the hump on my nose that I hated forever. Insurance paid for everything but that. It was the hardest surgery I have ever had because of doing everything at once. I am happy with the outcome of my nose and it is still a little swollen. I am very excited to see the final outcome because I love it already. I have not posted any review yet.
That’s great!!! The healing takes so much longer than I expected. It was very uncomfortable and painful for me. I was stuffy/swollen for several months. I’m 11months post-op now and couldn’t be happier! Hope your recovery continues to go well. Your nose should keep getting better over the next few months! I hope you’re able to post a review.... this site helped me so much as I was preparing and post surgery.
I think I will be stuffy and swollen for months as well since I have bad allergies. When did your stuffiness and being swollen finally stop?
I would say that I was stuffy for about 3 months and had swelling for 3-6months.
Wow it’s a long road to go.

4 months post-op and still beyond happy with results! Completely life-changing!

Lots of ups and downs through the healing process but it has completely been worth it! Breathing is better, sleeping has improved, and less headaches. Not to mention better self confidence! Wish I had done this 10 years ago!!
