I decided to have Lower Abs Vaser Lipo to look fit...

I decided to have Lower Abs Vaser Lipo to look fit. Dr Katerina advised to have both abs but mistakenly, I didn't think that it was necessary. Hence, I still decided to have the procedure on the lower abs only. It's been a hard work to keep upper abs looking small as the lower abs after the procedure but the progress is just brilliant. Although, if I could go back in time, I would've done both abs but I guess that working out the upper abs to look as good as the lower abs has been quite beneficial to my upper body and shoulders. Also, the pain through the night after the procedure is quite intense but afterwards it can be manageable.
Please look at my pictures to have an idea of the progress. I am due to upload the week 15 photo and I'll upload it shortly.

I see you have the tank on, did you wear a binder and if so for how long?

Yes, I had to wear the binder 24/7 for 4 weeks and then another 3 during the day. Overall, almost 7 weeks in total. It helps a lot wearing the binder while your body is recovering from the procedure. It can get a bit uncomfortable after the 3rd week though.

I was given a xl zip tank and I ordered a large pull over tank which fits better. I have been wearing the binder 23 hours over the tank and its been 4 weeks. I'm a little lopsided one flank looks better than the other.

I was given a small size one and then I was advised by the doctor to have it resized at the procedure areas after 3 weeks to help shape it better. Specially the flanks. I had a similar issue too and had to go through a carboxytherapy to help heal quicker and massages therapy on the areas to get the lumps dissolved. That helped a lot! Cant see on the picture but definitely could feel them. Must have patience, I've had mine almost 4 months ago and I am still healing it. Apparently, it is 6 months to get the full result.

Today's my 4 week follow up and swelling is still present. Wearing binder and tank all the time to reduce swelling and doing nothing active, still loosing weight due to diet

I remember having a bit of swelling around my 4th week too. The tank did help but I've also used a Ibuprofen Cream to help healing and minimise the swelling, I felt that it helped a lot. Although, the 3 sessions of carboxy therapy really got rid of the lumps and swelling.

The Dr said that I could wear the binder until 6 weeks but it will no change the overall results, I don't see or feel any lumps only swelling on flanks and lower ab area. I am going to wear the large tank going forward and binder until 6 weeks during the daytime

Hi, Thanks. I didn't have any issues with loose skin. I only had to go through the carboxytherapy to heal the skin quicker and it was worth it but the doctors will be able to advise your BF if it is required. My doctor did say that I was going to be fine but it would've taken longer and I wanted to see the results quicker. I'll post an most recent photo today. Good luck to your bf.

It's been 13 weeks and I have a another appointment with Dr Katarina as a follow up. Not much has changed and still keep working out and wonder if I am getting any improvement. Not too happy with the area particular around my belly button and will ask if there is anything she would advise to improve it.

I just hit 6 weeks and still very swollen in ab area, flanks and lower back. When did you see swelling going down? I'm eating great, lost 10 lbs since surgery but haven't started working out

I had the swelling going down after 6 weeks. Up till then, it was a slow progress and looked quite swollen. After 9 weeks when I started to see a good progress and then forward but I continued to working out in the gym. Do you have any follow-up with your doctor? I went to see my doctors 5 times after the procedure to ensure that it was healing properly.

Yes and he told me normal swelling

Hi Im thinkING of having vaser in Manchester. I am having 4 areas upper and lower abs sides and chest. My only worry is that they won't remove enough fat. it results look great and that's what I'm after. I have a similar body shape. Do u no how much fat they removed. I only wanted the lower abs but as you have said about the step he refuses to do so. Thanks.

Hi, I think that it is a smart move if you are having the 4 areas done. Maybe the recovery period will probably be a little longer. I had almost 6 lbs of fat removed, getting closed to the end of the procedure, it was quite painful. To be honest, if the doctor advised you to have those areas done, I would take their advice. Perhaps, it is what they are comfort with and not so much for the money or recovery time. My doctor did say that having the lower abs only, I would have to work really hard and diet to make sure that the upper abs wouldn't look uneven. Hope it will go well.

Hi thanks. I'm having my Chest and sides done on the 19th then 2 weeks later I'm having top and bottom abs done. will keep you posted and thanks for your response

Dr Katerina is good! She does have a different technique than the doctors in US but I got the results I was looking for. I didn't want to go to a HiDef and want something like natural look and she delivered it. It will take about 6 weeks for the hardness and uneven areas to get back to normal. Massaging while shower will help.
