Everything has healed now and alot tighter inside. I'm not happy with the result of labiaplasty, the right side has some missing and the scaring on perineum didn't heal correctly and looks like loose skin. Thinking about going for a revision once I can afford to and maybe get the hood reduced too. The skin feels hard on the edges which I wasn't expecting this far out. My surgeon is difficult to get an appointment with so going to go elsewhere.

You look great! Nice to hear that after you are totally healed you are tight. Sorry you sent happy w/results. Is there anything that stickers out from the last 7 months for drawbacks to the tightening part of surgery? Thanks.

Well my second attempt at writing lol! My last post disappeared!
All is healing well from what I can see. Had a rough weekend with pain, not to sure what happened but felt like I went backwards..? There is no redness, swelling or smell so think I just over did it running about and being on my feet for to long. A few sitz baths and plenty of rest and feel better again.
Stitches are still present and hopefully get them removed if not dissolved by post op with surgeon. Also find out if vaginoplasty has worked...
skin is smoothing out and softening.
Perineoplasty is still bugging me, not flattening out but I understand this stuff takes months to finally see full result. 6 weeks is recovery..
All in all happy with my decision :)

I will be 5 weeks on Thursday. I feel the same as you. My perineum has really bothered me this past week. Very sore and kind of hard. I have also been doing a lot of sitz baths. No discharge anymore thankfully. Everything looks good. I think my stitches are gone. Just feeling a little irritated. I have been using tucks pad too. Helps soothe the area.
Looking really good!!! Know exactly what you mean about a step backwards, I'm the same at the moment. When are you seeing Dr Daniels again? Wish these stitches would go, they are starting to tug. Had the worst itches last night - thrush or stitches, who knows!! x
Ideally I should have post op next week but it's easter holidays and I don't fancy dragging 3 boys with me! Going to arrange for 8 weeks post op. I have no concerns so shouldn't be a problem hopefully. I pulled out a long stitch last night that kept digging into my majora!
Itching could be stitches too. Bless ya, are u taking anything for the thrush? How's ur healing going otherwise? X
I stormed Boots this morning for an oral tablet - didnt fancy putting caneston cream down below!! So far still itchy, but hoping later for a bit of relief. My stitches are at the surface, I cant wait for them to be gone!! Not sure if i could pull it out myself - well done you :) Yesterday I felt a bit sore and tender, it really is baby steps this healing lark. The swelling has more or less gone down and if it stays looking like this then its the look I was aiming for. I just want to be a few months down the line to be honest knowing that its all as it should be. I dont think i would ever do anything like this again!! Yep, defo leave the appointment till after Easter. x

Well I'm on week 4 and finally pad free!!(spotting then period :( )
Stitches are visible, coming to the surface and coming out now which looks so odd!
I have a small bubble from perineoplasty where a stitch is bugging the hell outta me so I have started to massage in the hope it helps dissolve the stitching. Healing otherwise is good. Skin is pink and juicy (the only word that came to me). Hope everyone is doing well x

Hows the massaging going? Have you got rid of the stitch? Think I will try salt baths to dissolve them. It looks so weird with bits of stitches all over the place! Ive been hit by the worst case of thrush!! Not needed :( xx
Oh no bless you. I've only ever had thrush when pregnant and it's awful so I feel for you!
Stitches and skin seem to improve quickly with the baths, the stitch that I have is the end knot so I'm not going to tug on it :/. Might be coincidence but massage and baths do feel like they are working for me and everything seems to be falling into place nicely :)
Sore today after running around and having family over, can't sit properly at mo, it's to painful so will be back in the bath tonight! X
To me, you look fab! But it is all how you feel about it, of course.
I had mine done at the Surrey Park Clinic and could not reccomend them enough. Even with scheduling an impromptu appt to ease my concerns, they accommodated instantly.
They're super easy to talk to and I'm sure they'd be happy to give you some advice x
