Tear Trough/Under Eye Hollows Filled Using Restylane - London, GB
ORIGINAL POST
I felt the hollows under my eyes were ageing me...
WORTH IT$312
I felt the hollows under my eyes were ageing me and making me look tired. I had them filled in Harley Street around a year ago and was very disappointed with the results. Decided to give it another go with Dr Hanson after I was happy with nose to mouth lines and lips he filled for me.
Dr Hanson used a canulla to put the filler in and it was painless. He took his time and explained overfilling would give me eye bags!
So far I am very happy with the results and now just need to find a decent lightening cream for under my eyes.

Hi was this Dr Hanson Yu of in north London? I was thinking of using him for the same treatment. You look very good, did he use 1ml or more?

Hi kings cross & shoreditch he has clinics. What was you thinking of having done? He used around 1/2 ml and put the rest in my lips.

I was thinking of tear troughs, lips, and cheeks but I have heard that good injectors do not use restylane for the tear troughs:( you do look good though:) I hear botonics is the best for tear troughs and I may give them a call. I want an injector who looks at my face and uses their expertise to make improvements and suggests improvements for me not their bank balance. I will post pics here when I have found the right clinic/injector.

Hi, may I ask if the Silhouette thread lift has been a success? I am considering it but worthy the bruises & puckering will be horrible. Do the results last?

I would be very careful with this filler under the eyes as it is not meant for this area at all! Don't let your Plastic Surgeon fool you into thinking it is okay to inject this poison there! I made this mistake many years ago and am still paying for it. It didn't happen after the first injection but around the 3rd. Now I am left with saggy, baggy under eyes with really dark circles on top of it. In addition, the filler migrated into one of my eyes and caused a really bad infection. My new Plastic Surgeon told me Restalyne is Not supposed to be used for anything above the nasio-labial fold area. So this means, Not for the cheeks, tear troughs, crows feet or forehead. It is only meant for the lower half of the face which includes; lips nasio-labial folds and marionette lines! Anyone who tells you differently is looking to take your $$$$ Stay away

A lot of docs recommend it so maybe this is not widely known? What are your eyes like now? Did you manage to rectify it?

I've heard it shouldn't be used there either, it's too heavy for that delicate area and a finer filler like Teosyal or possibly Boletero (although even this make is debateable) should be used. The heavier ones can go lumpy and can cause a blue hue under the skin and can seem to migrate quite easily. I really want something done with my hollows/tear troughs but upon extensive research it would appear it's a very delicate and possibly most riskiest place to have done. That said your results look fine at the moment subtle and not too obvious which is good and would be the result I'd want

No, they are not....This was done 3 years ago and I have spent a lot of money trying to fix them and they still don't look good! I am in my 40's and look like I am in my 60's or 70's baggy, saggy dark circled eyes. I never had this before. I wish I had listened. My eyes weren't even that bad before, now that I look back! If I could turn back time, I would never have done it! It has ruined my looks and my life!

So sorry this has happened to you !!! I hate all fillers now . Am having issues with Radiesse as I write this . But as far as eye fillers go , I got my Tear trough area done twice . And I can for sure tell you Belotero is like water and will for sure migrate . I can see where my eye fillers are and it almost look like the product " runs " when placed in the TT . Lucky so far for me you cant see this . Only under certain lighting . Its been almost 2 years so hopefully it will be gone very soon . I feel for you . I hope you can enjoy your life even after this horrible experience . Hold your head high :) Fillers are all evil !!!!!!

I totally agree! They are all evil. My friend had her lips done and they were too overdone. She looked like a duck! So, she had that dissolving gel put into them and not only did the remainder of the filler migrate to her chin but her lips are now completely deflated and are floppy pieces of skin. I will never put this poison in my body again....too dangerous and probably causes cancer!

Gosh !!! This is terrible to hear . I hope your friend is doing ok spite this experience . You know you brought up a good point ......I always wondered if years down the road you would see those TV commercials that say " If you used Juvederm , Radiesse , Belotero , etc . " You know the ones I am talking about ?
I fear this ...that it could cause cancer or something else they do not know about . To scary !!! Glad you will never use these horrible fillers again either :)

Wow, they look great! Have you noticed the shadows fading or are you still in need of lightening cream?
Keep us posted on how you're doing and post some updated pics when you can!
