3 weeks post op today

Apologies for not updating sooner. These 3 weeks have flown by. My fiancé took the first 10 days off and with him working away we never get time together so literally just spent it together on the sofa.
Recovery has been ok, improving every week. The first week was sore and uncomfortable, last week I had to be careful as I was feeling a lot better so needed to remind myself that the 2nd week is still early in recovery.
The itchiness has driven me insane, other than the off twinge I've been ok. For the first 2 weeks I had a bruised sternum but apparently this was due to the inplants being too large and using brute force to get them out - eek.
I think one breast is bigger than the other, noticeably - I'm not sure if it's down to more tissue in that breast or swelling - I guess it's early days to tell...
At 1 week I had a check up, but the dressings were left on. Everything appeared to be healing well. At my second appt the tapes were peeled off my incisons.... I'm a wimp so did not like this but at all - especially when the scabs were peeling off on the tape. The nurse was very good and patient with me. I now have to change the tapes every 4 days myself. Takes ages because I get so panicky! I've still got another 4 weeks off work - my job is extremely physical so is a no go for at least 6 weeks (I've got 7) and I'm not in any pain.
I did have to go to see my GP as I suffered really bad constipation, he thinks it was due to the anaesthetics & pain meds - but I did a bit of 'damage' down there so that's been quite unpleasant...
The worse bit is sleeping on my back which I have to do for another 3 weeks... Eek. My breasts are just tender, every so often my cat walks across my chest & it hurts so I guess they are still bruised. I have really sensitive nipples, always have. I already have full sensitivity bac& & they have a mind of their own. I think due to repairing they are normal one minute & elect the next - then they chafe on my bra so bad that actually hurts more than the op! I've rectified by wearing nurse pads.
I've never liked my breasts and so far so good, but I'd appreciate what others think and whether you think one is a lot bigger than the other....

1 day post op

Quite sore and tender today. I've had quite a lotion bleeding from the left breast, the incision looks ok so they said it's just my oozing and to be careful.
Can't really see anything atm as I have the support bra on and lots of tape over my incisions but from what I can see already I'm happy. Apart from the oozing. I already feel small and petite again:)

Operation day

Yesterday was operation day!

The hospital really looked after me. First the surgeon and his nurse came to see me and mark me up. He explained my implants were 340cc and were quite big in my frame so I would be much smaller afterwards. Then the anesthetist came, again she was lovely and really reassuring.

I went to theatre early afternoon. They gassed me to sleep because I'm frightened of needles which was great....
When I woke up I was in some discomfort. I was given morphine and tramadol which massively helped. I also had some anti sickness as I was quite nauseous as I came round.
My bra was already on but Ivejad a sneak peak. I look so small chested! I cannot believe the difference! All the incisions are taped up at present though....
