2 weeks and 5 days after explant

Hello everyone! I am now 2 weeks and 5 days free from implants. I am feeling great. Absolutely no regrets. I have had my dressings removed and it was all healing up nicely. I have had a terrible itch from the scars... I thought something was wrong! But the nurse assured me that all was healing fine. I also have a knot above my left breast. It feels like a lump, the nurse said that was my muscle and that I have to give it some more time. I was a bit concerned about this. It is not in my breast but on the chest part above it. I will give it some time and see if it improves. It does not hurt at all. Happy healing to all lovely ladies on this wonderful explant section of this site. It would have been hard to explant without you. Xxxx

24 hours free from implants

They are very deflated. But I did not expect anything else.
I get surprised when I see my reflection in the mirror! My right breast is droopier than the left. That is from breast feeding my daughter over 18 years ago.

They are out!!!

I am now resting in a bed. My scares are sore. But I'm fine. I always worry before all medical procedures. I think all sort of hellish thoughts. I was very scared especially when I saw all medical equipment. It did terrify me. But all the nurses were lovely and were reassuring me. Then I walked into the theatre, was told to lie on the bed. Was shaking of fear. I was scared... It was more the anticipation.
But at the same time I wanted to get it out of the way. Mr Collis injected me with the local. It was not to bad. I did have ask him give me more injections, because I could feel him cutting me. So he injected some more. Then he poked around a bit.... The implant was removed, pulled out. It was a suction feeling..a plop!
Meanwhile the nurses and mr Collis were chatting and joking with me. The most painful bit for me was being stitched up.
I had a look at my breast. They look very DEFLATED. But I'm fine with that. Because I had two huge balls inside my poor breast for 4 1/2 years. So I will give it time and heal. Will take pictures when I'm a bit more rested.
