I have been thinking about this forever - but I never had the nerve to actually do it. But over the last 5 years I've had a lumpectomy from a breast cancer treatment as well as radiation and a year and a half ago I had a baby girl! So needless to say, my breasts are in need of help. The breast that was treated for cancer is smaller and higher due to the radiation.

I am currently a small 36 B/C. I'll post some photos later today. I am hoping for a 36 DD - my PS said likely on the smaller side of a DD. I am 5'10" and about 145lbs so he said I should be able to carry the DD off. I wasn't expecting to go that big but when we put the gels in to see what it looked like it actually wasn't that big. Personally, I almost think I could go bigger but I'll stick with his advice. And my husband thinks a DD is big enough! Haha!

I'm going into surgery next Wednesday! I am mostly nervous about the anesthesia and not waking up - but I think that is pretty normal. I wish there was a way to put that fear out of my mind.

But overall I can't wait!!!!

Good luck all will be fine and it will be one of the best decisions you ever make! I had mine done 6 months ago after the loss of my dad it was a moment of clarity " you only live once" and I have absolutely no regrets! The only one being why did I not do it sooner hahaha! Good luck sounds like you deserve good things! X x

I am even more excited now! Thank you for your comments :-) After surviving breast cancer I feel the same about only living once and making the most out of this like because it's all you have! And I don't want to spend my next 42 years looking down at my wonky boobs and wishing I did something. Thank you so much for your kind words and encouragement! I can't wait!!

Two different size implants?

User Avatar

Has anyone ever had this? I mentioned it to my PS and he said he would consider it but it might alter the nipple placement. And looking at my photos maybe he's right. But my left breast is a cup size smaller than my right. But I guess when they're bigger you don't notice so much?

Thank you all for your lovely comments!

Six more sleeps!!! [RS bleep]
