Hello ladies! I'm a month post op and finally...
Hello ladies! I'm a month post op and finally getting round to writing my review. I had initially booked to go with Dr Aslani a couple of years ago but had to back out due to the travelling. This is something I have been wanting for years but unfortunately isn't as available in the uk.
Through a lot of research I finally came across Dr Hamza in London, and within a couple of weeks I'd had my consultation and booked my procedure for the end of the month! I had three weeks to get organised so it was a mad rush but I was determined to have it done asap. Time flew and suddenly it was the day before and I was in the clinic getting my bloods taken, which took 2 and a half hours! The staff were lovely, and I couldn't stop apologising as I'm such a baby with needles! I'd stayed in a hotel close by so it wasn't a rush in the morning, I got there for 7:15am and I'd never been so scared and excited at the same time. I was introduced to nurse June who was so incredibly lovely and couldn't do more for me throughout my stay there. Dr hamza came in to mark me up and go through last minute details and answered any questions I had. I went into theatre around 9 am and next woke up around 11:30am.
I woke up laid on my back, the nurses came to turn me over and put my garment on which was so painful, but I was in and out for hours so the pain wasn't too bad. They moved me to another room so I could eat, and have a walk around. I felt really heavy and dizzy so it took me awhile to finish my soup but I was up and on my way home by 5:30pm.
The next day mainly consisted of sleeping, but the next few days were definitely the worst. I didn't realise how uncomfortable laying on my stomach was and how irritable it would make me haha. I waited til the fifth day to have a proper shower with my garment off, I got my boyfriend to help me take my bandages off and I was such a baby about it, I felt awful afterwards. So this is the first time I've seen myself without the garment and I'm so impressed and happy that I finally went ahead. The swelling was quite bad but I just kept telling myself to be patient. Thankfully taking the garment off only made me slightly dizzy, as I've seen it's made other girls sick.
After the first week was over I could definitely feel a difference, moving around felt a little easier and I felt better in myself, but then the itching started. I'd not seen many girls talk about itching but I felt like I wanted to rip my skin off, I was worried that I had an infection but it's just part of the healing process unfortunately. This lasted about a week and will flare up in patches occasionally.
I managed to wait three weeks before sitting down and only sit down now to drive to work, but I always use my pillow under my legs. My stitches have all fell out now and I'm still laying on my stomach, which I've definitely got used to!
Overall I've had a good experience with my procedure, it was definitely made easier with the help of some of the girls on here who would reply to my worried messages haha. I love my results and would recommend Dr Hamza to anyone!

Provider Review
Amazing doctor and his amazing assistant Lamie! Was always there to answer any questions, even when I felt like I was pestering. Made sure I knew everything before going in, then came to see me as I getting ready to go. Very professional and I'm so happy with my results!
