Month 8 .... Touch-up to Flanks (Hips)
Yesterday I went back to the clinic for a free 'touch-up'. This was because the surgeon had taken the maximum out that he could on the first go, and my flanks were still wobbly.
I was really nervous for some reason ! Was happy, as the surgeon said my overall results on my abs are really good (I agree !)
So this time was much the same but took less time and only 400ml of fat extracted, compared to 3400ml last time !
So today I am sore and back in the garment .... joy. I have updated my pics again so I can see a comparison when I heal again.
The best advice I can give to anyone who has not long had this procedure is to BE PATIENT. I over-analysed everything in the first few months as you go up and down like a yo-yo with all sorts of lumps and bumps. But in the end when everything was settled, about 5 months in, the result was smooth and I am really happy so far.

Glad to hear the touch up went well.
Ha ha at your be patient comment!! I am almost four weeks post and am flapping about new bruising and swelling on one side.

Hi there ! Thanks for reading ... Please don't worry. I was so lumpy and bumpy at times. It would come and go for a long time after surgery. At 4 weeks I was still very sore and swollen. Try to just let your body do its thing without worrying. It takes about 4 months :)

Top Up scheduled ....
Been back to see my surgeon. He has booked me in to have my flanks done a bit more as they are still too wobbly. He did say all along this would probably be the case. He took the maximum fat out on the first go and it wasn't like I was skinny with just a little podge somewhere. I am really happy as this will improve my result further. It is free of charge which is obviously important, as I spent 5k and that is a lot of money to me.
