DO NOT HAVE THIS DONE....LOOK AT MY PHOTOS !!! it took nearly three hours to do and I am totally disgusted in the way it has turned out. They tried to say I must bruise easily ?? nonense. They did not know what they were doing. I am now looking in having these taken out. Its disgusting. People can go on just a one day course to gain a certificate to allow them to do this !!!! It should be banned.

I was told minimum bruising yet I look like I have been in a car accident. I have threads sticking out of my head, I have long lumpy vein looking threads protruding down my face . I look like the elephant woman.

How's your recovery going? Has the swelling and bruising gone down?

Fine - I'm just going to post some pics - not sure how this works and if you can search for me by name?

I'm so so sorry you're going through such a terrible time - if you give me an hour or so I'm going to start a thread in my treatment with pics - I can also put you in touch with the doctor who did my procedure - maybe he can help you? x

I have asked several other clinics about correcting this but I just get turned away, all of them say the same thing that they cant help me as I need to go back to the doctor who did it. Unless they did the procedure , they are simply not interested. This proves they are all in it for the money only and are not true doctors.I have had to research my self on line. I appear to have unilateral puckering of the skin and rippling caused by too superficial placement of the threads. It says that they can be removed but thats all. I cant find anything explaining how this can be done or if there will be any underlying damage. If any one knows please let me know.

The reason why you were turned away is because it is a legal matter and that if anyone takes over your care then they take full responsibility. When they don't know what your herbal guy did or used. The threads dissolve and the safest thing for you is to leave them to do that, as by removing them could cause serious damage. Thank goodness you are ok now, but you should be suing for assault and fraud and reporting it to the police as soon as possible. The medical profession want to wipe out these people and are working tirelessly to do that. We are the only country in the world that currently does not require practitioners to be certified. Do as many checks as possible. I appreciate thought that this guy, had a made up the associations he was associated with. He's definately not on the GMC register. That's always the first place to look.

If anyone is reading this....do not have this procedure done. Walk away. Even if you have paid. Walk away and don't look back

I really wish I had followed my gut instinct and also the omen that was trying to tell me not to go !!! my train broke down on the day of the procedure but I got another train. I also was supposed to attend Tuesday just gone 2/8/16 to have a saline injection but this time my car broke down. I think someone looking over me is saying DONT GO.

I am contact with two other ladies who have both suffered by different so called doctors with this procedure. It wrecks your looks, it knocks your confidence, it makes you depressed and out of pocket and we do not know the long term effects. PLEASE LISTEN.

Why are you not naming the Doctor? There are millions of good doctors out there so it's quite unfair not to do so! Go to a NHS hospital or doctor no private cosmetic doctor is going to touch someone else's work!
August 26, 2016
There is a team of 2 doctors who fix botched procedures. They do a great job. Dubrow and Nassif(sp?)
September 1, 2016
Hi where do I find these doctors please ? are they in the UK ?
September 5, 2016
California, USA. They have a tv show called "Botched." They fix botched plastic surgery.

Dr. Massif and Dr. Dubrow are in California. https://www.facebook.com/DrPaulSNassif

Thank you for sending that I shall take a look. X
December 8, 2016
They are the best in the world for correcting "botched" procedures!

Who is the Doctor?
September 3, 2016
For legal reasons I cannot say , I am hoping to declare this as soon as my Solicitor tells me I can. I am hoping that people reading these comments who are thinking of having this procedure think very carefully regardless of what doctor they may or may not choose.

Omg!!! The thread can be clearly seen on your right face. This is malpractice !

My update- Day 16 after thread lift

dodgey
Hi I have added some more photos today Friday 5/8/16 which is 16 days after the thread lift.
My right side as you can see is still very much bruised and you can see the rippling of the threads, my left side bruising has nearly gone except for a bruise on my jaw line, however I have threads poking through my cheek. I have attached a photo of another lady that had the same complications / or negligence should I say happen too. I think for me it must be a case that these have to be removed. I am still looking for an answer on how this can be done

PDO COGS I have been told by the people who did this to me.
blue threads and white threads with barbs on , they look like rose stems as I can see them poking out of my head and face they are different widths.
Im so happy for you that yours went well and I do hear a lot of people say that they have had a good experience but unfortunately for me I chose the wrong doctor.
I am going to try and stop this doctor who did this to me doing this to anyone else.

Hi, I asked if they were silhouette and he said no they were PDO cogs .....what ever that means.
I have been sent from the "doctor" a box of 84 ibuprofen 400mg and 2 packets of prednisolone tablets 5mg and 1mg but NO instructions of how many or how often I take these. The prednisolone are steroids. Im 57 years of age and have been through the menopause, Ive read somewhere that if you have been through the menopause you shouldnt take steroids ???. I told the "doctor" I had been through the menopause before he sent these. The "doctor" by the way is an "Aesthetic practitioner" which according to what Ive read means he has worked in a pharmacy and gone on one or two courses . He has administered botox to my daughter ( hence that is why I initially trusted him) she appeared happy with the botox but this is a different ball game !! He has accepted liability as he knows he has F****d up ! No other doctor wants to get involved. So im in a hen and chicken scenario. They all say that I have to go back to th doctor who administered the threads. WHY IN GODS NAME WOULD I WANT TO DO THAT ????? when he couldn't get it right in the first place. Im finding my self going in a spiral, getting no where, feeling more depressed. Steroids by the way make matters worse if your feeling depressed ! Im in a no win situation here. Im really letting my heart out here and I hope my comments are read by other readers. Do I sue ? do I not sue? do I go along with what this "doctor" says ? as no one else who does this procedure seems to want to get involved. REAL plastic cosmetic surgeons have banned this procedure. But this is not obviously advertised. My aim now is to try and get this banned unless qualified doctors administer threads. There appears to be even local to where I live hairdressers, beauty centres and so forth catching on to this idea of making a quick buck. Its dangerous, we dont know the underlying complications, its not bloody natural. Plus to add to it all ! it only last 16 -12 months if your lucky enough to have had it professionally executed !!!
Ive been told its dangerous to have them removed...I could get paralysis......this has cost me £1000 to be seriously assaulted.... robbed of £1,000 and on going treatment to fix the F***k up. Need I say more
