I am on the journey of finding the perfect doctor for my rhinoplasty. First of, i am extremely scared to go under the knife. I have been looking to do this since i was 16 but i always dropped it. I am now 21 and i am ready, i dont want a drastic change and im from the UK but i definitely want to go abroad to get this procedure done. No offence to the UK surgeons but im not feeling their work, i would have to travel to the States alone bu it's looking like that might be the case.
Doctors i have reached out to:
Dr. Oelbrandt - this man is just annoying i cant lie, he doesnt reply but i emailed him using a different email and he responded so then i asked him why he didnt reply to my initial email, he said because the pictures werent good enough and he needed to see my forehead. He could have really just emailed me back saying that but instead he chose to ignore me. Not to undermine his work, but he tends to give people the 'michael jackson' nose so i think i am done with contacting him now.
Dr. Ghavami - He has so many followers and emails but yet replies so fast, i really want to use him because his results are amazing, ofcourse no one is perfect so there are some pictures i have seen where i wasnt feeling his work but overall he is amazing and the bbest and that goes without saying. He is just too pricey and expensive, yes your results will be worth the money and im not looking for a botch cheap job. However, I know surgeons who are just as good as him and charge reasonable prices so i might use him in the future for something else but im looking for an amazing doctor with reasonable prices (less than $10,000) after all, we dont all have money like celebrities to waste. He is more of a celebrity doctor.
Dr. Alejandro Hernandez - love his work and he really mimics the work of dr. Ghavami and is much more affordable ladies i promise but i think he needs a little more knowledge about how to work on african american noses. I love his work but some of his patients end up with like a bulbous nose (idk if that is how you say it). However, others are amazing so it really just depends on the patient's nose. He is definitely someone i will go to for surgery if i fail to find a better doctor that specialises with african american noses.
Dr. Adolfo Sesto - didnt see much pictures of his patients but he listens, very affordable, has a good reputation and i swear he knows what i needed and wanted without me saying it. He definitely has a great imaginative i swear because other doctors kept asking what i wanted but hw just knew and i will definitely consider him if i saw more results and pictures.
Dr. Marcel Ghersi - yes ok so this guy is definitely another dr. Ghavami. He is affordable too but might be pricey for some people, trust me you dont want no cheap surgeon. He ranges between $4-9,000 i think so thats very affordable and reasonable for his work. I need to do a little more research on him but im hesitating because he is based in Miami and as i said before i am from the Uk and dont really want to go to the States unless i have to.
Dr. Michael Salzhauer - the best !!! Results and price is perfect. He is soo reasonable and better than dr. Ghavami (in my opinion) has a bigger following too and omds he doesnt care about money at all. He legit wants to help you, he throws in procedures for a little amount and he is legit the real deal guys check him out. I am currently waiting for a reply because if i have to go to the States, i would definitely do it for him. He charges the same price as many dominican doctors and he is 2x better at what he does. He definitely has some amazing results on african american rhinoplasty.
Still deciding on all of these surgeons, iwill let you guys know my decision.
I was never going To make a post but i have been on realself for a while now and becaus of all oF you, i am more confident about surgery and making the right choice so i didnt want to be selfish. I wanted to help someone else with their decision ??
