I was treated for very minor broken capillaries 2months ago, and I still have visible burns on my face.
I visited Professional Beauty earlier in the year, and impulsively decided to have treatment with the Thermavein Machine (complimentary)
At no point was a disclaimer form signed and I was treated by a Beautician not a medical expert.
For two days my eyes were swollen and I had pockets of fluid under my eyes, nearly 2months on, my skin looks far worse than it did initially.
I have since had to pay to see a dermatologist on Harley Street, and she confirmed that I have minor burns on my face, which could take up to 6 months to heal and further remedial treatment may be needed.
I have requested Thermavein to cover the cost of the consultation and prescription, which they haven't and I am currently looking at legal address.
The whole experience has and continues to be very distressing, avoid at all costs.

I have recently had Thermavein suffered weeks of bumpy disfigurement and burns. Thermavein not being helpful so far! Avoid this treatment like the plague!

I have just had similar treatment for fine veins on my cheeks to reduce redness. I too have had fluid build up beneath my eyes, have been taking antihistamine to try and reduce inflammation. One week in my
face is covered in scabs. Do not have this treatment

I’m very surprised you wasn’t asked to sign a consent form? Which should have stated it has been explained to me in a way I understand, the treatment and possible after affects. Sorry to hear this

I had therma vein in March so almost 3 months ago now for major insecurity about my minor spider vein covered nose and cheeks. It was so painful and I’m now suffered from much worse redness and veins more severe to previously. I’m so worried they are now even more permanently damaged and won’t go down. I couldn’t find any bad reviews before I had it done so now finding this I’m so annoyed I went thru with it. I wondered if any of yours have improved?
