I have been displeased with how dry and wrinkled ( creapy my skin has started to look in the last few years ) I have tried alsorts of creams but it always felt like I just need to take a few layers off. I was starting to get dark age spots and I'm not even 40 yet. This is unexceptable. I tried so lesser peels but I have always had very thick skin so these peels really didn't do anything. 2 years ago I tried a series of 55% lactic acid peels then upgraded to 40 % then 55% then 70% strength glycolic peels. They didn't do very much. Then 6 months ago I ordered the lowest tca peel I could find 8% and yet again not much results.
So even though I was nervous about needing to take 5 days off of work to heal from this. I knew if I wanted real results I had to get more aggressive. I ordered the 24% TCA peel. About a week ago I did a patch test on my jaw line and waited to see how it heeled. It took about 5 1/2 days to fully peel and was red for another 3-4 days.

I ordered a 30% with plans to dilute the product. I did a 50% solution, so 15%. I neutralized it after 1 minute. There was a fair amount of burning sensation. My skin was slightly red for a few hours however the peeling was not noticeable for a few days and continued to flake for 7 days total. I will do this one time per month but probably 10% next time.
BTW, TCA is nothing to fool with. Please reduce your concentration with the addition of distilled water and do a test in a smaller area next time.
24 % is strong i hope u only leaving it on there for 1 minute and 30 seconds to 2 minites and 15 seco...also 20% TCA peel is good to start of with for exacly 5to7 minutes this is what i done and it worked great anything higher than 22% is too strong
24% is too strong for beginner
What brand of TCA product are you using if you don't mind sharing? I don't know who to trust when purchasing these products. Thanks
