I think it turned out very well. My skin has stopped flaking and feels sooooo soft. The skin tone looks much better and less dry. It will take a few peals to make a dent in those darkening age spots and freckles I have started to get. I will certainly do this again. Maybe do an extra layering next time of the 8% TCA peel. And I will try the 15% the time after next.

My skin is very dry and wrinkled considering I am only 38. I used to love tanning in my 20's so maybe now I am paying the price. I ordered all my home peels from makeup artist's choice. They where very reasonably priced.
I started with peels a couple years ago but never with great results but I also didn't do them very consistently. first I tried a few 55% lactic acid peels then a 30%, 50%, 60% finally 70% glycolic peels. The results never seemed to do much very little peeling. My skin never looked much fresher to me. ( but we tend to be very harsh critics of ourselves) Maybe I was expecting too much.
Last week I finally got up the courage to try a mild 8% TCA peel I put on the first layer for 5 mins then added another layer then 5mins later I added a 3rd layer. left on for 4 mins and neutralized it with post peel neutralizing solution that I ordered with the peel. My skin was a little red right after. Then it started to feel tight and look extremely dry the next day. It stayed like this for 6-7 days. I started to freak out a bit. Thinking I had ruined my skin because everything I read online said it should start to peel with 3-4 days. Mine took 7 and then it started to lightly flake like a sunburn would for the next 4-5 days.
