After researching and wanting this procedure for sometime and after seeing several different consultants, I opted for Amir, because of the reviews, I had watched him operate many times, his qualifications and doing the procedure including neck lift under local anaesthetic. I wasn't disappointed, the whole process from consultation to follow-up has been fantastic. During surgery there was no pain, apart from around the ear when administering the local, we were chatting and laughing during the 3.5 hour procedure and then I walked back to the hotel. Went in the following morning just to check everything was fine, then drove home, (a 2.5. hour drive). I was astounded I was able to drive just 15 hours after surgery. My ears hurt for a few days and I bruised alot as I had neck tightening, but each day was looking better and better and now I can't believe the amount of compliments I am getting, but I don't look different, just a refreshed version of me. If you are considering this procedure I wouldn't hesitate, the only result with this surgeon seems to be fantastic. I have a small scar under my chin due to the neck tightening, but it should fade quite quickly and it cannot be seen as people look at you. I also have some thread veins on my chin since surgery, however have been told they should disappear, if not they can be dealt with. The best bit for me is the way I feel, I feel more confident and not self conscious anymore, (absolute worth it).
