This review is for ellanse filler to my cheeks which I have now had twice. The first march 2016 ellanse S which lasted a year, was so pleased with the results and longevity I have just repeated with ellanse M which should last two years. Have has previous fillers to my cheeks which I seemed to metabolise very quickly and needed every 3- 4 months which was very costly. Downtime / swelling was no different to other fillers. First time I had 2 syringes, this time with the M just one was needed. Excellent! product

I agree, Ellanse is amazing when administered by an experienced professional. Ellanse's ability to make the skin produce its own collagen is what I like most about it.

I am going to have Ellanse soon.I want to use Ellanse E but I found out not many people would like to choose it.I thought it is good that Ellanse E is long lasting, I do not need to repeat the procedure too often.Maybe long lasting is not safe enough?Could you please give me some suggestions? Many thanks.

I had Ellanse M last week in the cheeks and so far so good - I'm looking forward to the final result in time! I suffered a terrible situation with tear-trough filler so was rather apprehensive to have anything done again but decided to try this and although there is only a subtle difference so far to my cheeks it seems to have lifted them which has made my tear-trough look better! x

I'm glad to hear that you've had a good experience so far with Ellanse. Mine is only now beginning to wear off and its been almost two years since I had the first procedure. I might get a top up in the summer. I keep trying to convince my brother to get a treatment as I know it'd make the world of difference to him and give him a confidence boost. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience with tear trough filler in the past. I could really benefit from well placed tear trough filler but am too concerned with the risks. I'm happy for the improvement that Ellanse makes instead.

I was rather apprehensive at first but I am so glad I had it now & I certainly feel more confident already! It's also helped with my nasolabial folds too so that's cheeks, tear-trough & naso folds all sorted in one!
I would advise anyone to think very carefully before having tear-trough treatment as I have known a lot of horror stories including my own. I did lots of research regarding it and eventually had it done by the supposed 'King of Tear-Troughs' in Harley Street - he's been on the TV and featured in the Tatler List (which is apparently a fix as the surgeons pay for the reviews!) . He basically used a filler that is too dense for that area which left me with what are referred to as 'speedbumps' which means you can see the filler in a long, lumpy ridge along the length of the TT area. It's been 2 years now and you can still see the ridge in certain light. I did complain to him but his answer was for me to go back and cross his greedy palm with a further £500 for him to put more filler in! He had already fleeced me of £1100 and putting more filler in the area would have just accentuated what was already there! I googled him and found quite a few reviews from other people that have been to him and had the same thing happen - he, of course, accepts no responsibility for his actions. I have reported him to the GMC and even the manufacturer of the product he used agreed that it should not be used in that area as the area is too delicate and fine for the composition of the filler, this particular filler should only be used on deeper lines like Nasolabial folds. I would never, ever have it done again! x

I just had ellanse m 7 months ago it looked good for about 6 weeks then vanished !! I don't know whats going. Could you please let me know you're doctor? thank you so much

I know my comment is a bit late. But just to let you know on the Ellanse website itself there is a search option and it gives you all the names of doctors who have been on the official ellanse training course in your area
