I had always looked younger than my real age up until I was about a year or so into my menopause. My face started to sag and I looked miserable when my face was in repose, when I wasn't smiling. Rather than feel depressed about it, I started to plan a facelift. With the help of a nurse friend of mine and my own research, it was obvious to me Dominic was the best facial surgeon in the world.
I knew he was the best surgeon I could have but nothing prepared me for the result. Even after day one, I could see how much younger I looked! My jowls and double chin had gone, completely. My droopy eyes opened from having the brow lift. Whilst my face was healing and I felt a little sore and uncomfortable, all I needed to do was look in the mirror at my lovely smooth jawline and felt so happy, I knew I had done the right thing.
It has now been a month since surgery and although I am not completely healed yet, I know that this was the best investment I could have made. No amount of make up or dieting can give one a youthful face, being brave enough to have surgery paid off a hundred fold. When I met Dominic for the consultation, I knew straight away I could trust him, we are now both delighted with his result!

I hapoy your delighted with your results. I was a also very pleased with mine at a few weeks. However when the swelling subsided and the realisation of how tight everything was. Feeling & looks.. It had become quite a serious problem. I'm nigh on 6 months post and it's soo tight after all efforts. Massage - facial and neck exercise without fail each day. Non of this was at all apparent until 6or so weeks post. Even then at 3 months I held the hope it would loosen and feel comfortable. It has not. My neck is tight in feel but saggy with a very odd look from the side. I hope you continue to enjoy beautiful results.

Hi Londonlady. So sad to hear your surgery did not go well. No matter how experienced a surgeon is, unfortunately they don't always get it right. I emphasise with you and hope that Dominic will be able to add you to his list of successes. He has ample experience in revision surgery,and I Hope he will go all out to rectify the problems you are experiencing. Xx

Oh I am sorry Londonlady...
It has been two months for me now and I am so pleased with it. Still a little numb under the chin but feeling coming back slowly.
I'm sure Dominic can help...he is a genius!

Did you have to travel far ? I'm 1 1/2 to 2 Hrs away on train.

Yeah, no amount of make up etc can help with the sag! Absolutely, I was the same as you, shocked at the old lady staring back at me when my face was in repose! My partner used to keep asking "you ok, you look sad?!" My face had fallen!!
I had a face and neck lift, platysmaplasty, liposuction (for double chin!!) and a brow lift.
Dominic has given me a face better than when I was in my thirties!!

I went to his presentation evening at the Marylebone and met a few of his ladies!!! Filled in the forms and have to wait?

Then I had my consultation in December, booked the op straight away for March (but I could have chosen February, so only two months from the consultation date)
It may not be such a long wait for consultation at present, you can mention me if you like, might get you in a bit quicker...?
It is so worth it Suze, I am so glad I found Dominic, he takes any fear or uncertainty away, so don't worry, you will be in safe hands.

Before the face lift I didn't have hardly any wrinkles, just had a saggy face that was heading south...yuk!! X
Not good. As another lady said I want to slow this process down!!!!
