Confused by Doctors Qualifications
Can somebody tell me the difference between a physician and a plastic surgeon carrying out a procedure please?..
I've researched some doctors and they all have " letters/ qualifications after their names but some are classed as " physicians" and others as "plastic surgeons". They all have fabulous reviews but the more I've read the more confused I get . I've been deciding on a surgeon to perform a lower facelift for a while now, but now I'm thinking I should opt for a doctor that doesn't just state " physician".

....So I've been wanting to have a lower facelift for a while now. I've already had an appointment with Julian de silva and he was lovely- however I thought it was was to see a couple more surgeons just to see their opinions and who I feel I want to go with.
Getting an appointment with Dominic is challenging. He's booked up way in advance- but I can cope with that. It's actually getting his " pa" to return emails which is the problem. She's asked me to send photos of myself from different angles so the Dominic can see what needs doing and then they will let me have an appointment. I've done all of this and yet have heard nothing back.
She seems a bit disorganised- anyone else had this problem?

just to say hat I found Yvonne very organised and have been in communication with her. few times and she was very prompt and efficient regards replying. I can only think that your mail didn’t actually reach her. Best to get in touch her as she says above.
I've also been in touch with Yvonne for a while and she has always been very quick in answering. But honestly I am in a similar job to her in a different industry and I imagine she answers 100's of emails a week. it would not be impossible for her to miss one. I hope you made contact again, she is very nice to deal with and very helpful.

Yvonne is super organised in all honesty and usually gets back to me very quickly when I need my treatments.
I would say contact her again as this is very unusual.
I had all my surgery with Dominic Bray almost 4 years ago and am still delighted with my results.

I am 2 years post surgery with Dominic and am not happy with the right side of my face. Even the good surgeons get it wrong sometimes.
Nancy, just wondering if you made contact with Dominic and told him about your problems?

I had necklift about 2 years ago , he has tried a few times to correct it , but I’m still not really satisfied

Yes I went back to see him ten months after my op and he acted like nothing was wrong. I have had three other ladies get in contact with me with a similar problem. He does not seem to want to do revision on his own work. I now have to be constantly aware that my hair is covering half of the right side of my face and can't wear my hair up any more.
Yes I got in touch with him but he was not interested in doing revision surgery. He acted as though there was nothing wrong.

...I'm 98 % sure I've found the surgeon I want but his says " physician " not " plastic surgeon"...
- his work is fabulous though.
I think its nerves getting the better of me , making sure I'm in the best hands .
