So realselfers... I thought I would post an update and let you know how things are one year on. I feel and look amazing, this was honestly one of the best decisions of my life. I can't thank Dominic and his team enough really. I feel so lucky to have chosen and placed my trust in this man, with the values he holds and the staff he employs, it has been a life changing experience. It was a such a big decision, but one that has enhanced my mid years in leaps and bounds. I did this for me, not to look 10 -15 years younger, but just not to feel like I had been robbed of my former self, with no say in it. I hope this review helps the many members of this site. It is not an easy decision to opt for surgery, but if you choose well, it can and will, change your life for the better.

Hello Realselfers, I thought it was time for an update and I am sure you would like to see the finished result, as it were? It has been nearly a full six months since my surgery with Dominic. I can honestly say that is this one of the best things that I could have done for myself. I feel so totally different and love my new look. I am of course, still a woman in her mid fifties, but I look and feel refreshed and now have an added spring in my step. I am so grateful for all those who have contributed to this site, as it helped me to make an informed decision and choose the right surgeon. I have healed brilliantly and have no visible scars. Dominic and his team are fabulous and looked after me so well. I'm now popping back for a little filler and botox to keep the polish and shine on my new look. I'm not sure how long a facelift lasts, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

God those first pictures are vile, is that even me? I suppose, yes, they very much are, which is why I am compelled to head running for the hills of Harley Street for a quick visit to Dr Genius, in approx 10 weeks time.... I have been using the skincare prescribed by Dominic's clinic for quite a few weeks now, it has really made such a positive difference to my skin. To be honest here, my skin was quite good for my age anyway and I don't tend to tan my face, even if I go away to a hot location, so don't really have too much sun damage. I don't like to fry myself and never have, I have quite light eyes, even though I am a brunette and I can burn quite easily if I don't watch it. I do have some age related pigmentation appearing on my skin, but nothing too bad at the moment. When I first started using the skincare, my face felt like that of a 80 year old for about 3 weeks, it was parched and dry, a bit flakey and the lines around my eyes seemed so much deeper and longer than they were before I stared using the skincare, I was, a bit freaked out. But within about 3 -4 weeks that eased up and now my skin is glowing and the pore size seems to be smaller and less noticeable that it was previously. Sometime It's hard to be objective about yourself, especially as I have not told anyone that I am using prescription skincare because I don't want too many question, etc etc. But today I was at the hairdressers and the owner ( a man) complemented me on my skin :-) I am sure he sees a lot of ladies of my age close up, so I was very pleased to receive such a compliment, it only confirms what I had thought, the skincare regime and products do make a difference, and they have improved the quality and appearance of my face and neck. Great news :-) Not long now......
