Uneven Pigmented Dark Skin

For a very long time my skin been unevenly pigmented, especially on both sides of my nose. I tried various things over the years but nothing has made any noticeable change. I’ve been wearing heavy concealer to hide the pigmentation. I would like to go makeup free or wear less.
Arrived at the clinic this morning for the treatment. The application lasted less than 30 minutes. It felt slightly cold when it was applied to my face but I didn’t feel any discomfort. I took public transport to the clinic and thought I would use it to get home but after the application there was no way I wanted to be seen out in public. So I took a cab home instead.
It’s been 2 hours since the application of Cosmelan 1 and my skin is feeling tight. I’ll be washing it off in about 10 hours time.

My skin is still peeling, I thought it has almost finished then woke this morning with more peeling. Haven’t been outside because of it, too self conscious. Supposed to be meeting a friend tomorrow, that’ll be tricky.
Have been using the cleanser, toner, cosmelan 2 & Hydra K three times a day. The toner is the only one that stings when used, the rest are fine. With the first lot of peeling my face felt fine but with the second lot my face feels tight and uncomfortable.
I took 2 weeks off work, I just hope the worst of the peeling is over by then.

The skin that is still peeling is more noticeable around my mouth. Still don’t see much of a difference to the dark sides of my nose. Was wondering if they should have applied more of the cosmelan 1 to that area. It’s still early days so we’ll see.
