I have always been very self conscious about my boobs because of the shape. I would see other girls with really nice breasts and wonder why mine looked the way they did. The size was never a problem for me as I had D cup boobs, it was always the shape. In august I decided to research breast augmentation (not really thinking I'll actually go ahead with it as it is expensive and I'm a student). During my research I discovered there was a name for the kind of boobs, and I decided I am going to get them corrected.
I booked a consultation at Harley Medical Group (with a patient advisor) and loved everything I was hearing. I was given the option between two surgeons both with really good reviews. I decided to go with Professor Drew because of his experience and the fact that he is a specialist in breasts.
I had my second consultation with Professor Drew and knew I made the right choice. He was very nice and realistic about the outcomes so I know exactly what to expect after the surgery. As I have tuberous breasts, I will be getting a double mastopexy and breast augmentation.
I decided on 300cc-350cc silicone mentor implants, round moderate profile.
I am
168cm,
65kg
starting at a D cup

I had my surgery yesterday, it’s more discomfort than I was anticipating. I didn’t expect to not be able to do anything by myself in case I use my muscles. I only feel pain when I accidentally tense my muscle other than that it’s just a bit sore.
After surgery:
I was hungry straight away but I would have to keep stopping because the food was difficult to swallow but got over that when I was eating a burrito my boyfriend got me.
I fainted when I first stood up to go to the toilet. It’s normal to me to blackout when I stand up and it happens multiple times a day however that usually only lasts a couple seconds. After surgery I completely lost control of my body, I had to be lifted and put back on the bed by the nurses and my boyfriend, this had never happened to me before so it was a little scary.
When I tried to stand again I stood for a little bit but had to sit again because I felt sick and really tired. This happened once again but the 4th time I stood I managed to go to the toilet and then go home.
It hurt when the drains were being removed.
At home:
Sleeping upright is difficult, I’ve noticed I keep sliding down after a little while then I’ll need help sitting up again. This isn’t a problem when everyone is awake (I like with my parents and siblings) but at 5am I had to stay where I was because no one was awake to help me.
Also the tip of my tongue has been numb since I woke up after the surgery, don’t know whether that’s normal.
My next post op is on Saturday 3rd March. I will update when there something new happens.

Congrats on your surgery! Sorry to hear about your discomfort and fainting. The first days days are the roughest, but things should get better from there on. Wishing you a smooth healing… :-)

Hey! Congrats on your op. Try bum shuffling (rock side to side on your bum and use your abs) to move yourself back up The bed :)

Pain is almost non existent at this point. I am able to sit up in bed without assistance and with no pain. I think I can carry quite a lot of stuff with no pain but i’m Not sure because I don’t want to risk carrying anything heavy.
My incision are very itchy, especially on my left breast. The skin close to the incision on the left breast is also numb and I can feel a tingling sensation in the breast.
Both breasts feel less hard today but obviously still very far from what they will be like.
I haven’t been able to see my incisions as they’re covered so need to wait and see how they will look on Saturday.
As for the shape, I haven’t had squared boobs or pointy boobs which I was expecting to have. My sister had said the shape is very nice.
