After having children and loosing weight my boobs...

after having children and loosing weight my boobs looked like deflated balloons so decided now was the time to go under the knife. I had done lots of formative research beforehand so on deciding my surgeon I literally waited three weeks for a date for my procedure. During my initial consultation I had decided with the surgeon to go for 440cc partials. However, a week before surgery I arranged another consultation to discuss going up to a 600cc but decided to go with a 510cc high corse`. so glad I went for the bigger option , if I would have had the 440cc I would have been so disappointed right now.
straight out of surgery the pain was probably more than i expected and the extra weight made it seem hard to breath but sitting upright and pain relief made it manageable.
I am 2 days post op and cant take off my binder or support bra until I have had my 1 week post op appointment so cant even get a proper look but I love them already! still experiencing some tightness and pain (the binder im sure is exaggerating this but its obviously necessary for the next few days) but every time my boobs hurt I just think of how beautiful they are going to look in a couple of weeks!

So far my boobs are recovering well, the left is dropping faster than the right and they are starting to soften...slowly!
I had terrible rib pain for the first 11days and stopped taking ibuprofen 3 days ago. Although my wounds are healing well (haven't been able to look at them myself still). I'm paranoid every time I bend/cough/sneeze that an implant might pop out. London transport is THE WORST when you are trying to recover and keep your boobs safe, i have had to leave an hour earlier to avoid the commuter crush so I would advise taking 2 weeks off following surgery if you need to commute

Thanks girl! It's getting there. So far so good but I'm having issues with my incisions. The dermabond glue residue is not coming off.

I know, I'm so happy for you. Third time lucky!! Obviously I'm not a doctor, but I would leave it, what has your PS said?

They told me after a week I can start cleaning it. If it didn't fully come off use baby oil to get it off but I'm scared to do that. I'm just going to leave it alone like your said on your other comment lol. Patience is a virtue.

This week has been so much more comfertable, I had been experiencing rib pain following the surgery but this has totally gone now. Thank goodness!
My right boob still needs to drop and is quite high in the muscle still in comparison to the left.
I'm still paranoid over my scars even thought they are both healing well, annoyingly though the left scar seems to be about a week behind the right in terms of healing. They are getting slightly softer Day by day but I just want them to drop and fluff already....I'm literally too impatient for this process!

Great progress. Your scars are going to look great after the scabbing is fine. How are you taking care of your incisions? When you shower do you rub lightly on the incisions? I don't know what to do with mine. I have dermabond glue on mine but it's slowly coming off.

Thank you, I just need to be patient.
I hope so, but I must admit the scabbing on my left boobs making me slightly anxious but I think that even though I shouldn't I subconsciously expect the same rate of progress on both boobs.
I had dissolvable stitches, So for the first week I was told not to get my wounds wet at all. Since then I have held the shower behind my neck so the water runs onto my chest to prevent too much water contact with the wound. When I get out I use the cool setting on the hairdryer to make sure they are completely dry which also limits rubbing/patting which may irritate the scars. I know a lot of people oil their scars from this early on but I totally avoid the wound area when moisturising my boobs and have not covered them with any dressing for the last week to let the wounds breath. I'm not planning to use anything for scarring until the scabs are completely gone I will then be using CBD or Vitamin E oil to prevent/minimise scarring.
How is it with the glue, does it feel very different to sutures?
If you haven't been advised otherwise I would try to leave your wounds and keep them as possible so not to irritate them and encourage the body's natural healing.

Wow. That's a great tip. I guess the itching and the glue residue is making me anxious as well lol. I just need to leave them alone like you did. Lol thx!
I never had disolveable stiches. Maybe that's why my scars always looked bad. Keep doing what you are doing and be patient. They both will look great after the scabs area gone. CBD oil hmmm... I've never heard of anyone using that for scar treatment. I'm curious about that. I'm going to do some research on that. :) your boobs are looking good and I'm glad the rain pain is gone.

Your breast look great at the 3 week point. How Did your scars heal and what is your cup size now that your dropping and fluffing is almost complete?
