Around 4 years ago I lost just under 30lbs in 12 months, I was 147lbs to begin with so this was a fair amount to lose in a short period of time. I found that the weight loss resulted in me losing a lot of the fullness in my breasts. My breasts were very full before and I have stretch marks on them, which weren't very noticeable previously. Now that my breasts are emptier the stretch marks are far more noticeable and the general appearance of my breasts makes me very unhappy. I told my surgeon that I would like to achieve a natural looking result, with round implants. I personally prefer the appearance of round implants because they give the breasts upper fullness, which mine are lacking. My surgeon explained that in order to create a natural look I should not go above my "optimum fullness" which is 330cc. I debated long and hard between 300 and 330cc and was completely torn between them. I didn't want to just dive in and get the biggest possible, equally I didn't want to go too small and risk the implant looking weird on my body. I knew I wanted HP implants because I personally feel that the moderate/low profile implants can look too wide and sometimes stuck on. After explaining my concerns to my surgeon he advised me that the measurements of the 330cc HP implants would fit my body better than the 300cc HP. He explained that if I wanted to go for the 300cc I should look at the moderate implants because the base was slightly wider and would fit my body. This was the decider for me. My incision will be in the crease and the implant will be placed over the muscle. I was advised that going under the muscle only really makes a difference in very skinny women who have very little breast tissue (as you will see from the pictures, my breast tissue is not lacking, it's just the fullness).
