Just when I thought all would be well.. The Recovery house lets me down.

So I have booked my flight, my surgery, paid the deposit for my surgery which is scheduled for 6th June and worked out my total budget for the accommodation and transport. I was finally feeling positive and hopeful and believed that I could do this on my own. This was important to me because with less than a month before the surgery my 'fiance' let me down big time and we have split up. I thought I could do this on my own him and wouldn't need him or his money. And then this morning the recovery house emailed me to tell me that the small room I had requested wont be available for my dates and I can only have the big room which is more expensive.
Its frustrating because I had sent the house a selection of dates in June that I could have the surgery but they told me they could only confirm once they had the dates of the surgery, so I booked not knowing if the room would be available because they wouldn't confirm availability until I sent them the date. So now my options are to either pay 750 for the big room for 7 days or book a hotel/apart hotel. Both options exceed my budget and it is really daunting for me to go into a hotel post surgery alone. I really don't know what to do.

Decided on Dr Aslani, Surgery in June - Travel Buddies Needed

So after not much deliberating (i tend to make my decisions pretty
quickly) and thanks to the many positive reviews from all the BBL
lovelies on RS, I have decided to book Dr Aslani for my BBL in June.
The cost has been quoted at 6190 euros plus 21% VAT, however I will try to get the vat waved with medical exemption.
With
1 month to get before my surgery, I have much to do. I am looking at
either staying at the recovery house or a nearby hotel, the Puente
Romano (5*) is charging 569.50 Euros for 8 days. I would love a travel
buddy for mutual support and to share accommodation cost. If anyone is
booked in the first 2 weeks of June please message me.
I am posting before pics to welcome you all to my BBL journey.

At 37 years old with 2 kids, I have decided on...

At 37 years old with 2 kids, I have decided on having BBL. Originally I planed on having the surgery at the Mecca of butt surgerys - Brazil. I contacted my Brazilian friend who now lives in Florianopolis and she was fantastic at finding surgeons in her city. However the information they gave was sketchy and confusing, one doctor recommended that I should have a both BBL with silicone implants for optimum 'plumpy' effect. The other doctor needed a host of exams such as ultrasound images of my butt and was unable to advise on which surgery or give an estimate of the cost. After considering the cost, safety and return travel 4 weeks after surgery, Brazil was ruled out as a possibility.
I then looked up Dr Jimmerson, the famous Dr Curves in Atlanta, I wanted, and want a 'thick booty' like the stunning Atlanta women on see on the reality TV shows. No doubt Dr Curves would be a safe bet, he has performed hundreds of these surgeries and he is on TV. BUT (pardon the pun) the oversees surgery element again put me off. I really don't want to travel for surgery, for various reasons and looking at cost exceeds what I am prepared to pay for the procedure.
So, on to the UK, as far as I know BBL isn't very common in the UK, but (butt) the procedure here is very tightly regulated, for instance there is a limit on the amount of fat you can inject etc and apparently butt implants are considered unsafe and not performed here. The average price for BBL is the UK seems to be around £6-£7k, which when you factor in the cost of travel to Brazil or the US plus accommodation, it is probably less costly to have it in the UK. You would need to plan to stay for around 4 weeks because after the surgery it is recommended that you don't sit for 2 weeks and limit sitting for up to 4 weeks so a long haul flight would be a nightmare.
So country choosen, next step selecting a surgeon. From my research it appears Dr Hamza, Mr Manish Shiva and Dr Omar Tillo are the leading UK surgeons for BBL. I have booked consultations for all three and will update this forum following my appointments.
I would welcome advice from anyone who has had this surgery and particularly with any of the 3 Drs I have mentioned and any other recommendations.
