11 Months Post-Op

I’ve uploaded a few photos of how my hairline is looking 11 months on (with no makeup). I’ve tried to get as many angles as I can whilst taking the photos myself! I have clipped my hair back in various places to try and show exactly how my scar and hair density looks around the hairline. There are some patches that are thinner and I have had some permanent hair loss where the scab was during healing, but with my hair down or tied up normally, you can’t see any thinning or hair loss :)

6 month update

I'm now officially 6 months post-op, so I thought I would do a quick update (can't believe how quick time has gone!). My hair has grown back about 2 inches where the bald patches were, so I can finally wear my hair up. However, hair hasn't completely grown back in one small patch along my hairline (I have uploaded a photo) but it doesn't really bother me. I've had some new growth where the incision scar is by my temples, but not as much as I would like and so you can see the where the incision was. It's not noticeable when I wear my hair down, however I have been putting a bit of brown eyeshadow along the area if I want to wear my hair up. It only takes a couple of seconds to do so I don't see it as a bad thing! I'm taking hairburst tablets every day which I think really helps with hair growth and keeping my hair healthy. Hairloss has completely stopped and, now that I'm taking the hairburst tablets, I'm losing less hair than I did before I had the surgery! My hair is thinner than it was before and it will take a few years for all of my hair to grow back to full length and thickness, so my only problem now is patience!

Hairloss update

Thought I would attach a photo of my new hair growth. I really think the hairburst tablets have helped as I noticed the hair growing so much quicker as soon as I started taking them a couple of weeks ago. Still using regaine every night and need to keep doing so for another month or so!

I cannot fault Mr Inglefield and his team at London Bridge Plastic Surgery. They have been so friendly, helpful and professional. They've been there at any time to answer any questions I have and have made a real effort to check up on me post-operatively to make sure I'm OK and recovering well. Would highly recommend!
