Amazing Results - Deserves a Lot More Stars!

I wanted to write this review not only to thank Mrs. Shah-Desai and her entire team for making me feel fantastic but also to encourage others who are considering eye lid surgery. I had lower blepharoplasty surgery about 3 weeks ago and my whole experience until now was faultless and so professional. All I wanted was to look less tired and I was hoping to get rid of my eyebags. I wasn’t expecting to look 10 years younger let alone look perfect but I have to say I think I do now. The results have totally exceeded my expectations by far! Although I am still healing I can say it was the best decision.

The moment I met Mrs. Shah-Desai for my first consultation I knew I would be in best hands with her. She explained everything in detail, kept it real, made me feel comfortable and so it was not a difficult decision for me to schedule the surgery. A few days prior I had a bit of a wobble. I read too many online reviews and of course the bad ones stick with you (don’t do that but I guarantee you if you decided to go with Mrs. Shah-Desai, there are no bad reviews!) so I called the lovely Lindsay, Mrs. Shah-Desai’s assistant who reassured me, listed to me, talked me through everything again and make me feel a lot better and absolutely certain that I wanted to go ahead with the surgery. I went to hospital with a very good feeling, the whole experience there for the day was very comfortable and everyone was amazing, from the receptionists, the nurses, the anaesthesist and of course Mrs. Shah-Desai, who saw me again an hour before surgery to explain the procedure again. All the aftercare was explained to me in great detail, I had a lovely meal and after I was discharged I felt confident that I would survive the first night at home. The recovery itself wasn’t half as bad as I imagined. First few days felt uncomfortable of course and you’re swollen and bruised but that is to be expected, although every day I woke up in the morning I could see an improvement and there was never any pain or real discomfort. And for any question I had, Lindsay was only a phone call or email away and it helped immensely that she and Mrs. Shah-Desai were always there to help and give advice on short notice.

I am so pleased I went ahead and had this procedure done. I cannot recommend Mrs. Shah-Desai enough to anyone who is looking to have eyelid surgery. I know I have received the best service, care and advice there is.
