Excel V for a Portwine Stain

I recently had Excel V laser for a birthmark on my nose. I have previously had V beam laser but found the downtime and bright purple bruising very difficult to manage, especially as I got older with work. When I went for the consultation at Medicetic's I was told that there would still be bruising which was a little disappointing to hear after most information published said little to no down time. Anyway I proceeded to book an appointment for treatment and I am SO SO glad that I did. The procedure was fairly pain free and when Dr Hermon Taylor removed the eye patches I was expecting to see the same intense purple spots that you get with the V beam. If you've had this treatment you will know what I mean! My skin did not look any different. I couldn't actually believe it. Some very light bruising developed over the next few days but nothing that I couldn't hide with a bit of make up. The mark now definitely looks lighter and the skin tone is much more even. I would highly recommend having this done if you have a birthmark that you are looking to reduce or remove. I will need a few more to clear completely, but after one session I am over the moon with the results. Thank you Dr Amy Hermon-Taylor!!!!!!!!
