18 Months Rhinoplasty (Post Op) Need Advice for Revision Procedure. Pics Wont Upload! London, GB
22 months post rhinoplasty surgery ! Pictures are at 20 months post op.
1. What to do as my surgeon still believes this is swelling?? 20months post surgery??
2. Who should I use to consider having fillers? as it is highly unlikely that the surgeon is an injectable practitioner with the skills required.
3. In the UK what legal support do we have, where by the desired outcome has not been achieved ?
4. I have requested my notes for further procedure with a potential other surgeon.
ANY ADVICE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Update Review. 20 months post rhinoplasty surgery
In response to Marc Pacificos recommendations for surgeons. The surgeon I chose has been trained by Charles East, and is a consultant rhinologist and facial plastic surgeon.
My concern lies with being left to wonder .
1. What has happened?
2. What is the resolution?
3. When and where do I go from here?
4. Do you trust your original surgeon to create the result you want?
The reason I ask these questions is because my surgeon doesn't seem to think there is a problem, but I am feeling quite let down and frustrated by the whole follow-up blase nature at reviews. I know what I can see, and I do not like look of my nose, when I smile , front on or the 3/4 angle.
I understand swelling can be an issue for a long time however I do believe I am lacking in support of the Alar cartilage and it's possible that the tip has been pulled in so much and septal cartilage now looks wider and of course the "swelling" from incisions etc ... Again I would appreciate any advice or guidance.
Thanks .

I am 18 month post rhinoplasty procedure and I...
I am 18 month post rhinoplasty procedure and I feel that the nasal tip has been over-resected and now denting inwards,I have no tip defining domes and the end of my nose feels very weak. The mid bridge section is wider than the tip creating a diamond shape as the bridge of my nose, it may be possible that this is scar tissue? In most angles it appears to look like a hook nose/polly beak, My smile is weird looking and I probably haven't smiled for 18 months consequently!
Please see the pictures and help me if you can as I am already dreading revision, hence why I took so long to get the procedure done in the first place .
I had a slim nose with a wide nasal tip and wanted refinement, so that the features of my face looked more in proportion. I had consultations with 4 of the most recognized plastic surgeons in the UK over the span of 7 years, so you could say I had done my research and my contemplating!! My choice was made to pick one of those surgeons by recommendation. I am not inclined to share the surgeons name as I am due a review, that I have requested as I am not happy and I don't seem to be getting any suggestions from my surgeon as of what can be done to correct the issues or what has happened in the first place.
Firstly I would appreciate any help and advice as to what you think the problem may be and how to fix it. Do I need grafts ? I had mentioned to the surgeon at first consultation about the need for grafts for support and he said no need as he uses an advanced suture technique for support.

Thank you for sharing your experience! I hope you find support in the rhinoplasty community.

Same boat as you had rhinoplasty that was bad. Did you take legal action against your surgeon? It’s seemd they are well protected which is why they are allowed to continue unchallenged I’ve seen some really bad results on here question is are these surgeons blind or so full of ego and greedy for money they won’t admit when they’ve messed me! Half the personal battle would be for them to say I’m so sorry I did this to you but no they put the barriers up and blame swelling! I feel like I should expose them somehow and this industry they are simply sales people!!!!! They say it’s easy here’s what I can do then when it goes wrong they don’t want to know and are full of excuses! I hate this industry and what it ends up doing to people!
But ultimately like you they should tell people how hideous recovery is!!! Prepare for 12 months of up and downs but no I like you felt totally unprepared my surgeon also left me with hollow eyes. It’s so depressing now everyday is a struggle when I was full of life.
