Finally did it. After a year of going backwards...

Finally did it. After a year of going backwards and forwards with my most amazingly patient and pragmatic plastic surgeon, I decided that a fat transfer to the breasts would be the most appropriate treatment as opposed to implants. I had always been small before kids but breast feeding my children had left my boobs virtually nonexistent with my nipples being the most prominent things on my chest and a slightly odd shaped right breast. I didn't want perky pretty boobs, just age appropriate ones and ones which would fill out my B cup bras. The smallest implants the surgeon would put in was 190cc but they seemed too big on my frame in the simulation and as I have so little fat on my chest, it was possible you would be able to see them, even under the muscle. I said I didn't want that or the additional surgery in 15 years, plus the risk of capsular contracture and I felt funny about having a foreign object in my body so he suggested a fat transfer which he regularly does for his cancer patients. He explained that it wasn't possible to know how much fat would survive the transfer so I would need to think about whether I was prepared to take the chance. After another three months of processing the information I decided that it was a no-brainer. Boobs which were boob shaped and losing my love handles and tummy donut - what could be better!!!
Fees paid and kids dispatched to my parents, I headed into hospital for the surgery yesterday. The anaesthetist was amazing and I had no sickness, I even managed to dream and after an hour of coming around felt really great.
The surgeon took fat from my tummy, back, hips, inner thighs and inner knees as he prefers to take fat from multiple sites to avoid dimpling/divots. He put back 200cc into my right side (wonky boob) and 180cc into the left to correct the assymetry. I know I will probably lose half of that but even that will be an improvement!
I actually managed to sleep pretty well ok my back although I had to get up for the loo 4 times in the night. Very achy today on the lipo sites, and I can feel the sutures in each of the wounds. Looking forward to having them out. I walked to the pharmacy as my compression garment only goes to just above my knees (wasn't anticipating knee lipo :-)) and I definitely needed compression on my knees. Managed to figure out a workaround in the form of tubigrips which will tide me over until my new (longer) compression garments arrive. Felt wiped out by the 5 minute walk there and another 5 minutes back so I took 2 cocodamol which definitely dulled my senses - I will be taking half a dose next time!
Anyway - boobs currently look great and I think I'll be slimmer. Oh and I am currently avoiding taking the compression garment off for another day. Flannel wash it is!

Day 5 update
ew75April 15, 2017
As my surgeon told me to expect, day 1 after the surgery, I felt rotten. Very sore and quite tired. My breasts have felt absolutely fine, it's just the lipo sites where you feel as though you have had the hardest workout of your life. The pain is definitely eased by moving about and gently walking. By day 4 I felt pretty good. Just remember that you get tired quite quickly.
I'm finding sleeping on my back is fine until about 6.20am when I feel as though I have completely seized up. Again, moving about fixes it in a couple of minutes.
Here are a few photos from today post shower (and the crisalix pictures from before as a comparison). I'm pleased with the results so far but will be interested to see how much fat I actually keep.

Thank you! Can't quite get over how weird it is posting pictures of my naked body on the internet

Lol! I know! I feel the same way. Oh well, as my daughter would say, "free the nipple!" ;-)

Very strange dreams...

I had 9 hours sleep last night which I desperately needed (thank you Mrs Bookbinder for the pillow tip!) but had the weirdest dream. I dreamt that the fat had migrated from my boobs (leaving them misshapen) to the centre of my chest giving me a mono boob. Definitely checked in the shower that this wasn't the case! Very strange!
