Just over 8 weeks

Excuse the comedy suntan mark :-D

8 weeks in and I think there has been a little more shrinkage but that's probably still swelling going down as I'm still a bit heavier than before.

I'm running a couple of times a week, walking 6 miles with the dog on the other days and also playing tennis a couple of times a week.

I think they are still bigger than when I started this journey as I had to change some of my bras. Honestly I do wish they were slightly fuller so I would consider "topping up" a few years in the future. I am so pleased with my slightly slimmer knees and my smaller love handles which is an unexpected side benefit though.

One month on

You'll see that I'm still in my garment although my surgeon says I don't need to wear it during the day. The skin on my back seems to get hot if I don't wear it so I'm keeping it on whilst the weather is still cold! Occasionally I'll wear Spanx leggings which I can pull up and that's fine but I still get this warmth on my back. I'm cleared to wear regular soft bras from this week (no underwire for another two weeks) so I treated myself to two nice ones. So much nicer than that hideous post surgery bra I had to wear!

Definitely massaging the lipo'ed areas in the direction of my heart as instructed by the nurse to try and smooth out the lumps and bumps.

Here are the latest photos. I'm happy. I think they fit my frame and are definitely so much better than before. I hope they stay this size. The surgeon seems to think they should.

Children with heads at boob height!

It's so frustrating but after being so careful for a couple of weeks, my daughter managed to bump and squash my left boob really hard yesterday with her head and I'm sure it is smaller today. I was optimistic that as I was over three week out that it would be okay but I think it is definitely smaller. I also can't believe how obsessed/cross I am by this but I'm going to have to just let it go as it was an accident/exuberance and in any case nothing can be done. Oh well.
