Does anyone know when the B-Lite implants are due...

Does anyone know when the B-Lite implants are due out in the UK? Their a 30% lighter implant alltogether and structured slightly different inside.
I'm interested in breast augmentation and have been for two consultation so far. I quite like the new implants that will be introduced to the uk but when their available I don't know so I was wondering if anyone else is up on this?
Anyone heard of them?

Hi yes I am really interested in finding a surgeon in the UK that uses or can give an idea of when they will be given go ahead. Christopher Inglefield BPS seems keen. Very expensive tho & not keen on his salesman approach :). Fingers crossed they will be affordable :)
A surgeon looked into it for me and said their still yet to have the eu approval, so it might be longer than expected. Was hoping they'd be approved by spring but it's doubtful. Other surgeons will use them once approved so they've told me so it won't be just chris inglefield, but it's only since I have mentioned them to other surgeons that they look into it as they never heard of them before. All the best with what you decide on.
Thank you so much for getting back. Let's hope the approval comes soon. I have to have my breasts revised fairly quickly so unless I can find another route I shall not be able to have them. Shame :(. I will keep you in the loop if something turns up.
Hi there, it's a pity if you miss them as I think their the next generation of breast implants, they way to go really. They should pass as their still basically using the same substances but created differently. Hope all goes well for you what ever happens. I have posted the question in the doctors section so let's see what happens. Cheers

I have recently heard back from the company that makes the Blite implants and I was informed that they don't know exactly when they'll be available in the UK so I asked for and estimate and was told hopefully they will be available in the UK by the end of this year. It sounds doubtful to me, more like end of next year but I do hope I'm wrong.
I'm booked into get b lites in the UK in 3 weeks was supposed to be next week but apparently they are running behind ?

Patrick Mallucci secretary said he doesn't do them? Paul Banwell does them - is there anyone else? If anyone knows? Just good to have a choice.
