lifeisgood1972April 5, 2015
$3,000
I had my procedure on Feb 16, I still have a lot of discomfort feels like nerve pain. Also have a lot of unevenness and hard bumps, my lower back always hurts. It feels better when I put my garment on but I am so tired of wearing it. Had my upper and lower abs, and flanks done at first I notice the difference but now it's starting to look the same. I haven't gained any weight in fact I lost 7 Lbs feel like I wasted my money.

Yes I do remember chills,,I could not get warm enough. (As long as you don't have a fever.) In fact I had that for a while off & on. I think it's just our bodies recouping after loss of fluids. Have some warm milk, or herbal tea. Actually I have a book on Lipo. It mentions not to have caffeine. (But I didn't get the book from Amzon until 3 days ago!!! I ordered it just before procedure.)But anyway got to have coffee, at least a cup in the morning!! Just drink a lot if fluids. Yes, LifeIsGood you'll have pain there for 2 weeks. Then it will start getting better, then it will get hard. but if the pain is real conserning don't hesitate to call PS for sure!!! Feel better!!!!

Bloated
lifeisgood1972February 21, 2015
Today is my 4th day, and I am miserable! So bloated and not hungry. Has anyone else experienced this? I was flat the first day but today I look like I did before the procedure

I was bloated, also, and had no appetite due to the compression garment. I had a hard time with compression garment after the initial surgery because it left a terrible crease above my belly button that did not ever go away and the PS switched me to spanx. I think that is why I did not initially get the outcome I wanted. I just had a revision on the 18th and was once again put in the compression garment - I asked for some foam to be put inside it against my stomach so this did not happen, but they did not offer it. When I took my shower today my stomach looked swollen, bruised and very uneven. I came up with the bright idea of cutting my husbands memory foam mattress topper and placing the smooth side against my stomach under the garment - OMG - my stomach looks better than it ever did before - why didn't I think of this when I had my initial surgery and maybe I wouldn't have had to do the revision? Dah!!! I, also, use Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula with Vitamin E skin therapy oil several times a day on my stomach - the initial surgical sites are almost invisible - I would recommend this oil highly - the skin feels tight and after you put it on it feels so good - I am now using it on the new sites. Do you have any foam on the inside of your compression garment? Try getting some memory foam and give it a try - it really made a difference for me. Are you wearing your compression garment 24/7? M PS told me that I only had to wear mine for the first week, but another lady on here was told to wear it for a month and her results are amazing - that is what I am going to do. I've paid over $6000 and I want the best results possible. She was younger than me (in her 30's, I'm 55). Also, it is very important to walk to get rid of the fluid build-up and drink plenty of water, avoid salt. Hang in there - they call this a non invasive procedure - they lied. It is very invasive and takes a long time to heal - I was still sore at almost the 7 month post-op before the revision. Hang in there - it gets better and most of all be patient.

Please post some pictures so I can see your progress. You can, also, long at the long journey that I've been on - hopefully it will be done within the next several months. I will pray that we both get the outcomes that we desire.

At first in the Hospital I was hungry, I ate a good dinner there. Then I was constipated from the Percocet, then I went off that after 3 days and Everytime I ate after that I had a BM. It's been steady like that. I lost 7 lbs. in less than 2 weeks. Then this past Thurs. The one night we finaly go out I get wicked cramps & made a couple trips to the ladies room, I had cramps Fri. & Sat also. I don't know if it was a side effect from tumescent lipo or what?? But it made me feel tiered, all that pooping!! I see my PS tomorrow. But my appitite curbed when I was cramping. Today I ate good, I stayed away from coffee, to see how I'd do. So far so good. That garment I had to take off last night because of my stomach cramps. I could not take that pressure on my stomach with cramping. It's been on all day though & hopefully tonight. I have to wear it for 6 weeks!!! Since my bruising has gone done, the garment is easier to wear now. But it was a horror with zippers on both sides because I had my saddles done too. But it's so important to wear that thing, so we don't sag!! I put a cotton cami on and tuck it in so it doesn't irritate my skin!!!! The bloating thing...stay away from foods with salt. I cut my salt way down. But my legs are still swollen. Do you have a massager? Not for now, your sore, but later to dissipate your swelling and lumping. Feel better soon!!

I started out at 149 and went down to 135 by the 2 or 3 month. Never did have cramps, however, the pain meds did constipate me. I have IBS with constipation - if I eat bread or steak, I really get constipated - I now take a probiotic daily and that has helped immensely. I was test for celiac disease and I do not have it - maybe sensitive to gluten. I stay away from bread, but do like Kashi Go Lean Cereals - delicious with blueberries added!!! So sorry your saddles are so tender. My belly button area (problem area) is very tender after the revision plus he went up around the right side of my rib cage and it is really sore. He, also, went above my partial hysterectomy scar - ouch!!! Still bruised and will continue praying that my worst area - belly button - straightens out!! You are definitely right about salt, but I love it - especially sea salt!!!! Happy healing to all with terrific results!!!

Wow 135, I would be very slender, that weight my waist was a 24. I have a fat butt. I'm aiming for 145. I take a probiotic also especailly after being on antibiotic, it will take all the good away. But I take Librax for yrs.mi was diagnosed with IBS. So it usually keeps me at bay. But it didn't after the surgery. No cramping until last Thurs. But I have been having to go after every meal. I wonder if it's all about that lidocaine they injected in me for Tumescent L. ??? Then no draining??? Everyone drains on this site. I see PS this morning, maybe have some answers. But anyway I'm not going to stand there naked again when I take down my garment for him. I'm going to put my panties on before he comes in. That's so strange his nurse, the PS, my husband and me with my bush out, looking in a 3 way mirror. Ha!!!

So sorry you are having those poop problems - I never have those. I know what you mean about disrobing - very embarrassing. I have a bubble butt, too, but it has been there all my life - better than a flat butt any day!!!! People are paying for the Brazilian butts - we already have them - ha ha!!! I only drained from one site and not very much. Good luck tomorrow!!! You are a very funny lady.

Poops are settling down. Yes, not very attractive, a flat hinny, on anyone. Even guys...a little roundness in a guy too. My PS is always talking about jeans, designer jeans, do you wear jeans, your going to look good in jeans with your rear end and your slimmer waist. ..he so funny, but Corny funny. He said I think I saw your husband out in the waiting room holding some girls hand. Ha ha. He's Uranian, we think. Maybe 50-54??? It's always kind of fun to see him because he's real..himself!!!

So glad your poops are settling down!! I agree, men need to have a little bit back there to hold onto, too!!! Your PS sound like a very funny man - mine tries, but cant just seem to get it right. He has been mad at me since I informed him after initial follow-up that he probably didn't take out enough and therefore that nasty looking shelf and then the revision - trust your gut my mother always said. I love your wit and humor!!!
