I? always was unhappy with chubby cheeks. I discovered that Buccal Fat Removal could solve my problem.
While researching about the procedure, I saw One of Dr. Mesa’s YouTube videos. Then I checked his website and reviews. He had amazing reviews so I made a consultation. I also made appointments with 3 other surgeons in the area. Dr. Mesa like no other explained me all the details of the surgery. I really liked the before and after pictures he showed me. He told me also that I needed to enhance my cheekbones with fillers to get the result I was trying to achieve. The other surgeons never told me about I needed to improve my cheek bones.
I did the surgery with Dr. Mesa with numbing anesthesia. He offered me to do the surgery either in Manhattan or at his New Jersey Office. Based on the price difference I elected to get it done in New Jersey. I took public transportation from Port Authority to his office (bus 77) for just $7 each way. That was a bargain on top of the $1,000 savings of not doing the surgery in Manhattan.
The procedure was exactly as his YouTube video showed. I felt like a dejavú. I did enhanced my cheek bones with 2 syringes of filler right before the procedure as Dr. Mesa recommended.
I was one of the “lucky” 10% of the patients that got very swollen. I looked like a potato head. I looked exactly as the picture that Dr. Mesa showed me about the patients with severe swelling. The swelling lasted for 5 days.
I am 2 and a half months after surgery. I LOVE my results. My chubby cheeks are gone! Additionally I look more chiseled. Those fillers in my cheeks were the icing on the cake.
