How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

I decided to get Invisalign because I have crowded teeth and have always felt paranoid about their general crookedness plus with my sisters wedding coming up next year the thought of being on all those pictures was enough to make me want to run screaming for the hills.
I have to have 30 sets of aligners and it should take approximately 15 months as I plan to leave them on for an extra day for each set to make up for the social occasions where I will need to remove them for eating and drinking. I am on my first set of aligners (10 days in so far) and they are gradually loosening. I haven't had any real pain yet, they just felt like a tight hug for my teeth and weirdly i prefer it when they are in than when they are out as my teeth feel rough to the touch due to the attachments.
Pros: you can pretty much eat and drink anything because the trays are removable (I love red wine so this is such a relief because 15 months of no red wine would have been a real bummer)
Even though I have attachments on my top front teeth they are practically invisible as they match the colour of my teeth.
Cons: I can't eat apples and carrots anymore due to the sensitivity of my teeth which is a shame as they are one of the few fruits and veg that i really loved.
Brushing all the time (especially at work) is a bit of an inconvenience but at least my teeth are cleaner than they've ever been!
My only concerns so far is that everyone seems to talk about having to file their trays down to reduce soreness but Mine have been fine (famous last words) which makes me think maybe they aren't on all the way but they do click into place and I can't get them to go down any further (even when I bite down on my fingers as I don't have any chewies (postage costs more than the chewies themselves so I'm not going to be ordering any of those). I also wished my dentist had mentioned the fact that people have needed refinements to their treatment plans because I don't know if he will charge me for this or not (I plan to ask him next time I have an appointment in 11 weeks). I am so glad I found this site though as it arms me with questions for my dentist if it hasn't answered them for me already ;0)
