My joke to my friends was that my oldest was 23...

My joke to my friends was that my oldest was 23 and I was "still showing". I was unable to lose the lower tummy and then had another baby and felt like I had yet a third tummy. I didn't really, but it felt like I did. I was super self conscious of it for decades and it had a life of its own. I hated my profile and thought about it twice a day .... Every day. When I got up and when I went to bed. I decided to do something about it when my girls went to college and could take the time for me. I found Dr. Slenkovich at Colorado Plastic Surgery and two others to interview for a tummy tuck. I make my decisions based on first impressions. The office staff was amazing and treated me like a friend. Lindsay was so personable and friendly and genuinely interested in me. When I went through the consultation with Dr. Slenkovich I liked him immediately and decided to look no further. My main concern was pain management because I have no tolerance to pain. He assured me that he would take care of that for me and he did. They did spend time talking to me about the after care and the pain management and it was just about what they described. For me, it was more intense because I am a baby and allergic to pain. For the normal person, it was probably what to be expected. The reason I am mentioning this is because the staff and Dr. Slenkovich responded to my concern with the pain and honored their promise to keep me comfortable.

I chose to not tell anyone at work about my surgery and only told my two best friends, my sisters and my girls. No one else knew. When I returned to work 6 weeks later (remember the baby statement... Most return sooner) everyone at work thought I had a boob job! I used to be built like a tree stump and no curves. My tummy stuck out as big as my boobs and I'm a DD so when my tummy was gone all they saw was a figure and my boobs! I was always a double digit size in jeans and for the first time in decades I am a single digit. Now I look at myself twice a day in a mirror and never regret one second of the decision for the tummy tuck. My abs and confidence are for the first time soiled and not flabby!

Dr. Nick Slenkovich as a person is genuine, honest, kind and a good guy. As a surgeon, he is amazing. I could not be happier with where my incision line is and it is not visible unless I want to show it. The surgery was everything he told me it would be and even a little more. I am now just a year over my surgery and my scar line is pretty much faded and I am so happy and grateful for the work that was done. I never imagined it would look this amazing and you could bounce a quarter off my abs!
