I just want to be comfortable in a tank top and shorts, in a scrub top without a long sleeve shirt underneath, and the "girlie" t shirts that never fit because of my arms. I'll be getting an extended tummy tuck with 360 lipo, lower body lift, fat transfer, brachioplasty, breast lift and augmentation.

Surgery is 5 weeks from today!!! Unfortunately in bed sick w/stomach flu. To much time to think. All the crazy thoughts about feeling guilty about spending this much $$$ on myself... Am I strong enough to handle it? Am I doing too much at once? Will I have the support I need? Can I handle people's negative reactions? Do I care? Lol... Any prep, supplies, regrets or comments welcome!! Thanks in advance!!! I have my pre-op appointment 10/5. Even though it will be mortifying, I'll post some pics then.

Your date is getting closer. Yep, it is a lot of money. I will be doing my next surgery in December. It is nice you can get all of your transformation done at one time.
I have no regrets starting my transformation journey.
Good luck at your pre-op appt.

Thanks!! It still doesn't feel real. I'm excited. And nervous! I think more excited :) How are you feeling now?

My surgery is November 16th and I’m really starting to wonder what all I still need to buy for recovery. I did buy a used walker just in case. My surgeon provides the compression garments. My husband is getting me a raised toilet seat. What am I missing? Oh and we bought a recliner as well.

I changed my toilets in the house to comfort height from standard height. Comfort height is 17" to top of bowl and standard is 14.5". I am 5'5" and found that is all I needed and didn't get the raised toilet seat. You will learn to straddle the toilet and use your quads to get on and off ...
Recliner is your best friend.
I too got a walker but never used it. But, since I had less skin removed in my stomach area cause of gallbladder scar I wasn't really hunched over to walk.
I did purchase another set of compression girdle and binder from my doctor so I could wash one while wearing one.
Also, these open crotch girdles are very uncomfortable to the girlie parts ... I found that taking a depends and cutting out the inside area (removing the sides and waist) and placing this piece in that open crotch area. I tried a maxi-pad but the depends is much more comfortable and fits better. I bout a pack of 24 - to change daily.
Another thing I wish I had -- but I didn't get -- was a long grabber to pick up "stuff" I drop on the floor. Now I let my husband pick up my mess ...
My poor hubby is having to do so much to help out.

Mine will be in the same boat! I also see people talking about scar creams and other things like that. Thanks for the info. I’m scheduled to be in the hospital two nights.

Oh forgot ...
Knee High Compression Socks 15-20mmHg
Don't get anything stronger in compression. It will be to hard for your husband to put them on you.
please get 2 pairs ...
A sock butler (donner) does help putting these on
This is what I got

Note:
I am a very strong believer in compression socks to keep the legs from swelling and help with blood clots prevention.

I purchased, from the doc, scar cream my last appointment at 4 days post op.
I think it is more healing cream since I am putting it on all open sores from the tape. I am only putting it on my back area now since I still have tape on the front. You may want to take with your doc on creams to purchase. I am sure he/she sells them

Just Want to Be Comfortable in my Own Skin

I was looking at other docs on real self. Saw some of his work. He is who I had my 1st and 2nd (which was my final) consultation with!! I'm getting an upper arm lift, breast lift/augmentation, extended tummy tuck w/360 lipo, body lift and fat transfer to my butt. Can't wait for my boobs and butt to be bigger (and have no!) gut!! Can't believe this is actually going to happen!!!

So happy for you and can’t wait to see your results. Since you are going 15 days before me I am looking forward to following your experience.
October 14, 2017
I appreciate all the encouragement!!! I'm starting to get a bit nervous. I think it's because I want all the pain to be worth it. Thanks for coming along!! :)
October 16, 2017
I hear you! I have had multiple surgeries and always recover very well but I don't want to assume I will have the same healing process with this one. All we can do is prepare as we have been and heed the advice of others. I think my number one take away from advice that i have seen is to take it very easy for first several days. Just because you are feeling good does not mean you are free to get up and move around as you normally would. I am seriously going to have a bell by the chair so that I can ask for help before moving unless it is absolutely necessary.

The pain and lack of activity post op is sooo worth it. My doc has one taking a shower starting day 1 and everyday ... every time I look in the mirror - it is so amazing what a good doc can do ...
It is worth all that I've been through ... u will feel the same
October 21, 2017
I'm hoping the immediate change (even tho swell he'll) will help me get through!! Can't believe I actually get to do this!
