WORTH IT$37,500
I started my journey nearly seven years ago, I was the heaviest I had ever been in my life, a whopping 300lbs. My doctor informed me that I was pre-diabetic and my cholesterol levels were off the charts, he said, "at 24 years old, I worry what your quality of life will be in your mid 30's. You have to take action." And that's exactly what I did....
I gave myself a year. I didn't want to have to buy any supplements or participate in group weigh-ins, I just wanted to learn how to take care of myself. I began educating myself on nutrition and sustainable lifestyles. I spent a couple summers in Japan and took a crash course in macrobiotics, this taught me to listen to my body, to trust myself....and eventually forgive myself.
