Years of Revisions After My Lipo 360
After 4 years of revisions and corrective procedures following my Lipo 360 with Dr. Adam Kinal, I feel obligated to share my experience.
This procedure became one of my biggest regrets. I was left with significant contour irregularities, extensive lower abdominal scarring, and a keloid on my upper abdomen. Early on, I repeatedly expressed concerns that my compression garment was excessively tight, but at my initial post-op visit, it was never removed to fully assess the area. I was left with significant scarring and discoloration, including areas that multiple physicians I sought second opinions from described as consistent with burns.
Four years later, I still avoid clothing that exposes my abdomen. I have undergone multiple revision procedures, taken significant time away from work, and spent considerable money trying to improve the result.
I continued trusting the process because I was repeatedly reassured that things could be improved, including being told by Dr. Kinal that he would “go to the ends of the earth” to help fix the outcome. After four years of revisions to address issues from my original surgery, I was recently informed that another recommended revision would now involve additional fees due to changes in practice ownership. This was extremely disappointing given the previous assurances I had received.
I’m sharing my experience because prospective patients deserve to understand that complications and extensive revisions can happen, and their physical and emotional impact can last for years. I strongly encourage anyone considering surgery to research postoperative care and long-term revision policies, not just the initial procedure.
