Worst Experience, Not the Right Doctor for Me

It’s been more than 3 years since I had my lipo which was a nightmare experience. I have spent more money trying to fix my botched stomach than my original lipo costs. I have been using Sculptra to fix all the fibrosis on the whole of my stomach, I spend $3000 for each session, 4-5 units. So far I have had 7 sessions. There are improvements but still look at the dent.

This has been a painful few years whenever I look at myself in the mirror, the frustration I feel when I wear swimwear and under the sun. I just have to come into acceptance that I made a mistake by going to the wrong provider n he is never going to take responsibility. I can only share my stories to warn other women. Hopefully less women need to go through what I did.

Make sure u choose a well known surgeon who’s on the plastic surgeon association n has a proper practice. Choose a surgeon who has your best intention at heart n will give u full attention n care. Not ignore n gas light.

Look at the skin. Irregularities. Looks like they’re uneven muscles or abs building out!!! Terrible look. Before I lipo I wasn’t fat, I only wanted to get rid of Accéss stubborn fat at the belly. Yes that’s fine but this look is worst than what I had before! N at this stage no one is able to help me!!
I would pay for anything for a professional, confident and expert surgeon to help improve the look. Please help !

I am not a woman of negative reviews and in fact this is my very first negative review on anything and even took me more than 1 YEAR to express this. I think I should share my experience so other women who intend to do similar procedures can reconsider their decisions and not ended up like me.
I had tumescent liposuction with Dr Lanzer in November 2018. (Which I requested for high definition VASER liposuction but Dr lanzer said they are the same thing...) The results received weren’t there and it’s made the appearance of my abdomen area looked worst! Post lipo couple of months, I went back for few check ups with him to ensure the look of my skin that looked uneven and bulgy were just part of the process, he said yes and it may take up 6-12 months to settle. I even booked in to do sessions of Velashape on those areas, hoping it will heal better that they won’t look so terrible, that they look similar to uneven abs?? It is now 15 months post lipo, it’s a terrible look, wish I went to another clinic or another doctor who cared! After intense researching on what I can do in the meantime and the healing process, I did everything I can which included, consulting my original dr (lanzer) who was incredibly dismissive when I spoke to him and addressed my concerns. Post lipo care instructions werent truly there, for example, I found out some other surgeons will provide lymphatic massages masseuses after surgery to help the water drainage, a plate was given to wear on your stomach post lipo to ensure the unevenness won’t occur. Now it’s too late!I went to few other doctors in Sydney, hoping they can help improve the look. They gave me the same answers - dr lanzer was too HARD when performing the procedure and my tissues were scarred. Hence, a terrible look. I don’t wish for anything but a solution to help improve the look, I’m not asking for any compensation from dr lanzer, all I wanted is him acknowledging his mistakes and help his patient like myself to find a solution to help fix this. If he can’t do it and knows someone who can, recommend it. In the end, we all want results achieved.
