update on my lipo journey
I wanted to post some updated pictures from when dr rajat gupta operated on me - post op 1 year. I'm extremely happy with my 6 pack abs and my arms and legs and face. The doctors put in a lot of effort and work to make my body look so natural and like a supermodel. I would def recommend liposuction for anyone who wants a better life for themselves . It improved my life 100%. Overall the surgery for me was 100% worth it and changed my life in ways I never imagined. Also boys go crazy lol. Amazing Results.
Liposuction in India
Hello so I currently live in NJ, USA and I always wanted liposuction however the cost was one of the main reason I started looking into India for my surgery. My sister came across Dr. Rajat Guptas (RG) profile on real self and was very impressed. We set up a few consultations with different doctors in India and by far Dr. RG was amazing. He answered all my questions and was very understanding.
Prior to surgery: I had no problem it was very easy. Blood work and testing was all done in one day.
Day of Surgery: I was very nervous but everyone was so sweet and the hospital is beautiful. Almost feels like you are in a 5 star luxury hotel. Dr. RG and Dr. Priya Bansal were going to work together on me.
Day 1 after surgery: the time I woke up to the next day. I was in a lot of pain but definitely expected and sore. The results were definitely overlooking the pain. I got out of my cast and got into my faja (tight clothing/ body suit u have to wear after surgery). The team was very helpful.
Day 2: I did have some complications. My urination stopped for 3 days after surgery due to anesthesia but
This is a totally normal reaction and my urination returned back to normal in three days. Dr. Priya came to see me every day even on a holiday because I was at the time scared but she was so sweet. As a doctor- Dr. Priya Went above and beyond caring for me as a patient. She showed compassion and empathy which meant a lot to me.
Day 3: I started noticing dark skin rashes on the side of my abdomen- I will provide pictures. My body was bruised up as this is normal in recovery but I was worried about the dark skin on the sides. When I asked the doctor. He (Dr. RG) told me it will go away and not to worry. I did research before and was worried about lipo burns. This is what happened to me. They did tell me they had lipo foam before my surgery however they did not have it.
Fast forward: I got better each day and was doing great by 7 days- My pain level was the highest after surgery by seven days it was a zero. However my lipo burns were definitely something I was not happy about and it seemed to get worse as I was healing. Stitches were out and I was ready to leave India.
Pros: I love the way my body looks. I have way more Energy throughout the day. I feel like I’m 16 again. I can eat a lot of the things and my body still always has abs. I got my arms and legs and face done as well.
It’s been a year now and my results are still better as ever. Anyone who sees me always says I look like a bodybuilder. My arms/ abs looks like I work out every day.
Cons: I would say the only downside to my surgery is the Lipo suction burns I got them due to not having Lipo foam available or any cushion inside my faja. I also did a little face lipo and due to the faja being tight on my face I have a scar on my neck also.
My Lipo burns got so bad I had to go to the doctors and get treatment and now I am actually getting surgery again to help me get rid of keloids I developed from the Lipo burns my sister also got the surgery with me and she had the same problem. I’m not sure if the doctor never had patients with Lipo burns but hopefully they can provide Lipo foam for their patients now. Lipo foam is super important and I wish I could have prevented this. I didn’t like how I was lied to in the beginning when they told me they do have it before surgery.
