Surprising Consult

My review is only for the consult. I originally contacted Dr. Copeland for lipo of my calves and her professional opinion of my mid section (what does she recommend-lipo/ tummy tuck etc).

She was very honest with me which I really appreciated. She didn't tell me what I wanted to hear just so I could book the surgery. Though I have thick calves, she explained why lipo in that area won't actually make much of a difference. She did a really exam and actually looked at me and listened to my concerns. She was thorough. Her explanation, though not what I was expecting, made me understand my anatomy and why this procedure might not be worth it. Definitely made me take a look at myself and forced me to accept things about my body I cannot change and maybe one day even love it.

I would definitely recommend at least a consult or second opinion with Dr. Copeland if you're looking for a surgeon. She was thorough, honest, and pretty funny.
