I was referred to Dr. Kimberly by a friend who had a breast augmentation. The staff was very polite as was Dr Kimberly herself. The booking process was very simple and straight to the point. What I liked most about Dr. Kimberly was she wasn't one of those doctors that pushed you to get work done, she actually told me i didn't need to get lipo, I just needed to diet and exercise, but like most of us that gut just doesn't go away no matter how much you diet. Now for my experience, it was very expensive compared to other doctors however, I still spent the money because i figured I would be paying that amount if i traveled to Miami (that was where i was going to go before I found her). I also didn’t like that the anesthesia was charged separately and I was told I would be charged one price going in but was charged double without my knowledge. When I seen the charge on my card I had to call and ask why I was charge so much. I was told they had to flip me so my surgery took longer than anticipated. Anyhow, my first red flag was in the office (which is very nice and clean) there was an ipad with a slideshow of all DR Kimberly's work. There were no pictures of her lipo patients just nose jobs, breast augmentations , face lifts, and tummy tucks.I will admit I was excited and I jumped the gun without fully doing my research, the only research i did was looking her up on this site and she had great reviews and of course my friend who got her breast done. One of the things I regret is not looking for comments on this site from her lipo patients . After booking my appointment and paying the $1000 non-refundable down payment I asked Dr Kimberly if she had any before and after lipo photos of other Patients (Backwards, I know, I should have asked this when I first went in) she told me she had to dig them up ( could have been a figure of speech but in my eyes i looked at it as if she didn't have many).I waited a few days to see if she would email me with the photos but still nothing. I emailed her assistant and asked if she could send me before and after lipo photos. I got the photos a few days later and i immediately noticed there wasn't much of a difference in the patient’s before and after photos but at this point i felt like it was too late and didnt want to lose my $1000 deposit (I now regret it).Just to sum this review up I am not happy with my results. I wanted what we call a "snatched waistline" Like the Instagram models, I knew it wouldn't be as dramatic as theirs but i wanted to see more of a difference. After 6 months I lost 3in in my waist. I could have went on a diet and got the results I have. I still have a pudge at the bottom of my stomach, and it’s uneven. I thought after this surgery I wouldn't have to suck in any more but i still do!Also the last thing I didn't like about this office was if I didn't have a friend who got lipo before I wouldn't have known half the things she told me because I was not told. I wasn't told to keep my garment on 24/7 till my follow up appointment which was about two weeks after (the garment that comes with the surgery is a cheap standard surgical garment that you get from the hospital after having a baby).I wasn't told to get any massages after my surgery to flush the liquid out, in fact I asked Dr Kimberly if I should get them and she told me it was a waste of money but I got them anyway and found that it speeded my recovery time. I also wasn't told to wear an ab board. To sum up the review I am not happy with my results, I even lost 10 lbs to see if that would help and it didn’t. I will be going again but this time will go to Miami and get the results I'm looking for.

Also the morning of my surgery, Dr. Henry tells me that my lipo will be extra! What? I was so mad and told her that this was all explained to her during my consultation. OMG, she reluctantly agreed to do a little bit of lipo on my tummy, flanks and inner thighs. My inner thighs had just a bit of chub that would never go away. Mind you, I was/am 4'9" short, 108lbs. Not fat, not thin, I just had some stubborn, chunky areas. My inner thighs are still lumpy, no difference to my tummy or flanks. The fat that she transferred to my outer butt are....died.
I later found out on the TV show, Botched, that she shouldn't have done the fat transfer at the same time as the implants because the fat doesn't have enough blood supply to live.
One would think that she would know this important information.
She also contradicted herself several times with her post op instructions. I even had the instructions in a handout but she said that she told me something different.
After 6 weeks, I was complaining about pain and bruising and said that I was so glad to finally be able to sit and to sleep on my side and back. She then said that I can't sit or lie on my back for 6 months. What? Everything that she gave me and verbally told me, clearly said 6 weeks.
These sorts of odd conversations happened several times.
I'm sorry that you also had a bad experience.
