Liposuction with a Real One
WORTH IT
I had liposuction of the abdomen & flanks on 4/15/21 with Dr. Mark Albert. I can not give enough compliments to him and his staff, from the beginning to end. ALL of the ladies are pleasant, informative & helpful.
Ok so heres my process. I met Dr. Albert in a very informative group on Clubhouse. After I told him I put a deposit down for BBL & Lipo in Florida but I wasn’t 100% sure he invited me to his office for a consult. He said even if I do go forward with Florida I could come see him for questions.
I went for the consult in Jan or Feb I think and immediately changed my mind to have it with Dr. Albert (see initial review). The only thing that made me a little sad was I wouldn’t be able to afford the bbl but I was happy with getting rid of this belly that was getting out of control.
So on 4/2 I paid most of the surgery off & picked the date of and the next day my prescriptions were called in. WONDERFUL!!
The day before I was given all pre op instruction over the phone. Provided my pick up persons info and was asked if I had any questions which I didn’t.
Day of I arrived to the office with same great vibes from the front desk which again was so dag on pleasant!
I was prepped, Dr. Albert marked me up through my laughter because of course all this extra fat has the nerve to be sensitive to touch. He gave me some meds and off to the table I went.
So I did local anesthesia. I’d done it before. Would I do it again? NO! It didn’t hurt this time but I didn’t like my own whining from the rough spots. Dr. Albert was so nice in saying I was doing fine when I know I wasn’t. I know he had his work cut out for him and he kept going like a champ!!
2 hours later I was done. I thought I was on the table for 30 minutes but it was really 2 hours.
AFTERCARE:
My incisions are beautifully hidden!! And I have dissolvable stitches. I was wrapped in a belly binder which has been fine. I bled a lot the first night which I was prepared for. I have steadily been taking Tylenol because I am sore and it’s been working.
I’m missing a lot but none of it was bad at all. I would totally go back, under general anesthesia. One thing I do remember is that I equate the 2nd round to having your 2nd child. You forget what labor was like with the 1st child but remember as soon as you go into labor with the 2nd child and immediately think to yourself “what the heck was I thinking”. But in the end, it’s all worth it!
Happy surgery & recovery ladies. And remember to listen to your surgeon and trust the process.

1 day pre
Liposuction
I’m so excited I can’t barely sleep at night. 2 more days until the start of this better looking body. I’ve spent the last 2 months intermittent fasting & daily walks. It’s only helped me not gain more weight. I can’t seem to get out of the 180’s.

After a consultation with Dr. Albert (not a “surgery coordinator”) I left feeling 100% satisfied with the decision to let him perform Liposuction on me. The office is immaculate, the staff is well organized and professional, and his consultations are very informative. No one tried to pressure me to book with him which is a major plus. I am truly excited to be a future patient.
