I tried to use these in bad lighting. I have a very small dent under my belly but we did not put any fat in that area during surgery. I’m still very happy with it.

Hello, I am similar to your start pictures in a way. I am going to make a consult with Dr. Khan, but travelling from outside of USA. Im so scared to have another procedure. I have felt depressed as you describe. May i ask where they harvest the fat from? Im so thin, im nervous. How was your recovery time? Your results give me hope, but im still so scared

On December 9 2020, I had surgery with Dr. Jeffery Darrow out of Boston, ma. I had liposuction to flanks and upper+ lower abs. I developed 2 seromas 2 days after surgery and they were drained 6 times, every couple of days. After 4 weeks I noticed that the two areas that were drained were a lot more raised than the rest of my stomach. My doctor pushed off my concerns saying that I was swollen and that was all. I’m not stupid, I did my research. At 2 months post op I started having consults with many doctors and all suggested I had scar tissue build up or fluid that was trapped and couldn’t be drained. My doctor acted oblivious and I was just all set with him. You can find my review on his RealSelf, I won’t post the whole thing here. But anyways, during my search for surgeons, I came across Dr. Khan. I had a consult with her many other reputable revision surgeons. After having over 15 consults my search ended up being down to her and dr. Steven Svehlak. The reason I chose Dr. Kahn is because her fat is PURE YELLOW and his was pink.
(During the months of my recovery and waiting for a revision, I was the most depressed I had ever been in my whole entire life. My stomach was so botched. I didn’t get dressed or go out for FIVE months. I felt so horrible every single time I looked at myself in the mirror. I was complete agony).
So here’s my review of Dr. Khan. First off, I had a email consult and a consult in person. She was very thorough in email but I wanted to see her in person so she could see and feel my stomach. My first time meeting her, she was so damn sweet. Literally the whole entire time. I asked like 1000 questions and I’m sure I was repetitive because my anxiety was so bad and she answered me over and over again. I also followed her work on all social networks so I knew what her work looked like BUT in search of a surgeon I met other girls on real self who would say that some of her reviews are fake, or her pictures are fake, etc etc. So I’m here to say and confirm that Dr. Misbah Khan is one of the nicest human beings I’ve ever met, her reviews can’t be fake because I received EXCELLENT bed side manner, and EXCELLENT work done on my body. After being told by over 10 surgeons I needed a tummy tuck, Dr. khan and the other doctor are the only ones who were willing to do a fat transfer to my stomach.
So, I booked my surgery with her for April 27th I believe. The day I came for surgery, she greeted me with a hug and reassured me that everything would go really good and she’d be there at my side the whole time. We started with the two lumps that in fact were filled with fluid (blood and fluid got trapped because of the seromas) then she took fat from my outter thighs and used that to fill in the dents in my stomach. We thought there would be left over fat and we planned to over correct cause naturally you lose some of the fat but there wasn’t so she filled them exactly perfect but no over correction.
I would say about 90 percent of the fat stayed after 6 weeks and that’s when most of the fat diminishes. Im happy with the results. I finally been getting dressed up and going out with my friends again. I feel 100x better about myself. I’ve got my self confidence back!!!!
I do think I’m going to need a bit more fat added but I don’t plan to do that right now. I’d really like to fully heal before doing this again. I’ll tell you this, I would never ever in a million years let another person touch my body. I will be back to see Dr. khan if I decide I need some more fat added.

Dear Mass1993, thank you, thank you so much :) Its been a joy to take care of you. to be there for you and to be able to put the sordid mess behind you and see you happy at the end of it all. here for you anytime you wish to come back but i don't think you will need to. I think the seroma sites will continue to go down even more and it will level out the other deformities around it. having said that, there's always room for improvement. and it can be done whenever you're ready.
my care for my patients is the same regardless of who they are, what they do or where they come from. everyone is treated the same way, everyone is a VIP in my office :) simply bc we are all humans at our core. we all have the same physiology, the same anatomy and the same chemistry. its not important to me what people think of me, what opinion they have of me, whether they like me or not, its not going to change how I work, how I treat my patients and who I am. my job is NOT make people happy (Otherwise I would sell ice cream instead of being a doctor) my job is to do what's right for my patients, to the best of my knowledge. and that's what i did for you, and will do for anyone else who is respectful of me and my time.

Thanks for writing this review. Resonates so much with me hearing you talk about your depression. I am devastated myself and unsure where to begin with my stomach.
I had this botched bodytite a few years back and nobody will touch me. I'm ashamed to admit that I had no idea how big of a procedure it was and up until then, never had any issues with doctors; so I didn't realize how hard you need to look for the right ones. I have found one that will charge me $35k. That can't happen... unless I sell a kidney!
