Liposuction (PAL) revision

Hi everyone! It's been exactly a year since I had liposuction to my abdomen, waist and outer thigh. I also had fat transfer to my breasts. Overall I am very happy with the procedure, but I feel like they were a few spots that he missed the first time around, and I have added my outer thighs for this procedure. It's really more of a "micro Lipo" to the areas I need treated. You can read my old review if you want for the initial procedures. Basically I need around my belly button lipod a little bit and my upper abdomen which he didn't really get the first time around. Again, just a little is needed. My lower hips were also not done the first time and they really bother me so he is going to lipo those a bit. And I am adding my outer thighs as well. I was hoping that inner thigh Lipo would slim my legs a bit more, which it did, but not really enough to make a difference so I'm hoping a little Lipo on the outer thigh will do the trick. I'm scheduled for this Thursday. I'm a little nervous but at least I know what to expect this time around. I also have all my garments and supplies from last year so that's good! I only had to buy a new garment for the first two weeks as last time I had to cut the straps off the garment because they crossed over my breasts and put too much pressure on them for the fat transfer. I bought a new one and intend to keep the straps on this time because I am not doing the fat transfer. I am 49, 5,6" . I have also gained weight since the last surgery and I'm about 123 lbs. The nice thing is that all my pants still fit me. In the past I would not have been able to fit into my pants at this weight.

Thank you so much!

Are you happy with the revision lipo around your belly button area ?
February 27, 2020
It seems much better. I'm only at about five weeks now so I still have more healing to do. I don't think my stomach will ever be completely flat given my age and the fact that I had two children but it does look better! I think the belly button is a tough area for them to liposuction around.

Yes agreed . I asked because I also have an issues around my belly button it's more just extra skin. I had two lipo treatments to help with the bumps but it made it worst. I'm 29 and no kids , so I think it's the liposuction that takes a toll because there's no fat, just stretched skin . I heard of j-plasma- renuvion helps with stretch skin and tightening. But who wants to go through all that when their might not be a better outcome !

I agree, just more money wasted! If the area in my upper abdomen does not smooth out I might consider a tummy tuck although I really was trying to avoid that :(

Yes that's the only way . If I never got lipo I would of had a flat stomach . I only got liposuction cuz I wanted a bbl with not enough fat so they just ruin my stomach making it bumpy and stretched out . After kids I'm just gonna get the mommy make over ! Well you still look good ! With a spray tan you won't see the irregularities

Thank you. I am really hoping to avoid a tummy tuck because I have other autoimmune issues and I don't want to create scar tissue in that area. But I'll have to consider it if the area in my upper abdomen does not smooth out. It is starting to look a bit better so I have some hope. I'm so sorry that happened to you with the BBL.

I also had lipo on abdomen at 31 no kids and it looks just like the photos posted here. I posted a review on j-plazty it was a nightmare of a procedure and no results.

Hi. I just read your review. I'm so sorry that happened to you! I've had two children so I definitely have stretched out muscles and uterus. You were flatter than me in your before pictures. But I am curious about the procedure you had, was it Lipo with skin tightening?? Or was I just to tighten the skin? For scarring, just be diligent about using scar cream and silicone tape. Mine took months to go away, but they are barely visible now. You are only two months out so you are early. Still, if you see no noticeable change I would try to go about getting your money back!

I should up at the clinic around 9:30 AM. They brought me back and gave me some cocktail of medications to make me a bit sleepy. Then thy brought me into the doctor where he could mark me up. I included some pictures. He’s doing the upper abdomen, Around the belly button area as well as my lower back hip area. He’s also going to smooth out a little bit in my lower back. I am excited because he was able to tackle the little rolls under each breast which he was not able to get to last time. I was awake the whole time but feeling drowsy. There was really no pain involved other than occasionally a little stinging. Before I I knew it I was done and they bandaged me up and put on my compression garment. My husband was there to take me home. So far really no discomfort because of the timescent fluid. I do have some oxycodone if I need it, but extra strength Tylenol is recommended. Hoping for good results!

Just really sore today, especially when getting in and out of bed or in and out of the chair. The one thing I don’t like about the first step of these garments are the side zippers. Even though they make it easy to get in and out of I feel like they chaff on the sides of your body. I much prefer step two with no zippers. Just using extra strength Tylenol today but I might use a pain pill at night to help me sleep.I. Changed out my dressing today. I did have some leakage but not a ton. I snapped a few photos before putting the new bandages on. I can feel I’m starting to swell already.

You look great! There is a pretty big difference. It looks like your PS did a fabulous job in addressing all of your issues, even though you looked very nice after the 1st procedure. It's always nice to know what to expect the 2nd time around, too.

Thanks! I am definitely entering the swelling phase. I woke up so swollen and stiff. I need to start my manual massages but it's still so painful! I have a professional lymphatic massage at my PS on Wednesday. I m going to buy a series of 5. Just hoping I don't get fibrosis!!
