Fixing Thigh Liposuction Gone Bad......

WORTH IT
Dr. Hubbard acknowledged my concerns & addressed what needed to be done to fix poor liposuction performed by another surgeon. Immediately upon viewing the areas I was concerned with, he was able to tell me exactly what was wrong, which matched what I thought was wrong as well. He took the time to explain realistic expectations, procedure he would use to revise my thighs, and showed empathy to my situation. I'm ready to look as close to normal as possible again and am eager for my surgery date. My only regret is not choosing Dr. Hubbard to begin with.

Thighs Fixed After Botched Liposuction

I had my surgery on March 9, 2020 and am pleased with the results. I feel like I can wear a swimsuit again and not be embarrassed. Dr. Hubbard did a great job correcting what someone else messed up and made sure I had realistic expectations of what my results would be. He performed a fat graft to fix the dents and waviness.

So happy it worked out for you. I'm looking for a surgeon in this area to perform fat grafting on my stomach. I may go have a consultation with him. Do you know if he has before and after pics of fat grafting he's done? It's hard to find. I really don't want to travel to Cali

I think he has a few photos on his webpage, but not alot. It's not as popular of a procedure as tummy tucks and breast jobs. He has some Brazilian Butt lift photos and that's a fat transfer as well. I highly recommend him - he knows his limitations and he's not afraid to tell you what he can and can't do so that you have realistic expectations. I think that's what I like best - he doesn't let you think you will have results that are not attainable.

are you still happy with the results? did the fat grafting survive?

Enough of it that I'm still pleased with the results. There was some loss of volume, but he told me that would happen. But the results are still good.

What area did he take the fat from to use?

3 months post op
CandJ09August 2, 2020
Here are my 3 month post-op photos! So much better than before. I am still considering a 2nd fat graft procedure with Dr. Hubbard. The original surgeon took so much fat from the sides of my butt that Dr. Hubbard was able to put a base layer of fat in if that makes sense. While there is considerable improvement, fat grafts work best when they have fat to adhere to. Since I had almost 0 fat in some areas, there are some small irregularities still. However, they are not so severe that I'm ready to say YES, let's do another fat graft. They are minor enough that most people won't notice unless I point them out, so I'm taking a little bit to see if I get more comfortable with them. I was able to wear a bikini July 4th and not feel bad about how my thighs looked.

Wow!
I have the same problem that you had. I want the same result.
Do you know how much fat was transfered? Did you lose a part of this fat?
