I'm at my 19th day post op. I just felt better since 3 days ago. Now I can stay up longer, walk around more, and cook my own meals...I stopped taking painkillers a week ago. I can sleep and eat better now. I had lost 4 lbs so far. All my bruises are gone by this time. I still drain fluid out daily and still have my drainage massages...2 more days would mark my 3weeks post op. I mentioned it here for who ever wanted to have your procedure done, would know how long it takes for your recovery process.

Dr. Guadalajara is my surgeon for my body contouring. He is very detail oriented, attentive, caring. His bedside manner is phenomenal. I had so so many questions, he was patiently answered all of my questions both before and after my procedure. He contoured my body exactly how I wanted. I'm 5.1 weight 117 lbs before sx. It took him 4 hours to finish my procedure. I thought since I'm "skinny", it would take less time to finish....but he said he had to be more meticulous and careful to ensure the greatest result for my petite frame. Dr. Guadalajara is very professional! On top of his expertise, his English is well spoken!

I had booked else where prior to this sx date changed. Great thing that I canceled and chose to stay with Lotus recovery house. If I would grade them on a scale from 1 to 10 as 10 is the best. Lotus would have 100. Yes, 10 folds the greatness. By now, I can assure you all that we couldn't survive post op without recovery house, at least for me. I traveled to Guadalajara by myself. At Lotus, there is a cook, daytime nurse, night time nurse, cleaner, driver, a therapist to cater to all your needs. Sounds like a lot of staffs right? Believe me, I deeply appreciate every single one of them and so do you.
Rosy the cook, she cooks and brings food to my room, cheers me up when I'm on my low day, helps me put on my faja when I have no energy, keeps me company when I feel down..etc. yes, she is that great, seriously. She has great energy, beautiful hospitality and is very accommodating.
Vero, the cleaner, is so great and attentive. She would clean my room twice/day, stock up my toiletries, wash my laundry (then iron them before she return my laundry to my room) It's not as easy as it sounds when I mention her duties. I had liposuction so my body is a leaking faucet of body fluid. I have a drain so each time I drain to the toilet, the toilet got stained, the bed sheets are all wet with body fluid...so you could imagine how my room would stink and stenchy...but I'm in awe of how well she clean my room. My room always clean, fresh, and sterilized. She wipes down every with Clorox and Lysol wipe...even the light switches and the door knobs.
Both of Lotus daytime and nighttime nurses are great and sweet and understanding. They help me with my lymphatic drainage massages, give me shots, change my gauzes, shower me and dress me....without them, I won't be having happy healing for sure.
Aureliano, the driver, is very sharp and punctual. He is always on time for all my appointments. He would go above and beyond to help me. Once he had to drive to to 4 different pharmacies to fill my prescriptions.
I don't speak Spanish. I'm not a Mexican..so all my communication is via an ap...yet, I still can be understood and served very well.
