So I have a check up next week, I guess it is for 6 months after. Honestly I’m feeling like it wasn’t worth $10K. I’m planning to start hitting the gym hard and see if losing a lot of weight will help. Right now when I look in the mirror I feel like I look really pudgy. Sucks that the entire summer I felt to fat for a bathing suit. Maybe the problem is in my head and not in the mirror, but as it stands I think I’d need to lose a good 30 pounds to feel comfortable and confident again.

Honestly you look great and your results are phenomenal. I agree I believe it is all in your mind, you could have rocked a bathing suit this summer. I am not sure where you see the pudgy but your stomach is flat in these pictures, you are natural curves in you hip. I think 30 lbs is excessive I know you started with 10lbs over, did you gain 20 since your surgery because it does not look that way. Believe in your body and Dr. O did an amazing job believe in what you paid for and believe the beauty in the mirror. Keep with the healthy lifestyle but try not to think excessively because your negative thoughts will translate to the mirror and may distort what's truly there. Thank you for sharing your story!
I truly understand. I think it’s in our heads too!! But honestly, i think you look great. Big difference and beautiful results

I don’t have any pictures for today. Just wanted to say that I am LOVING my results! Went to the gym for the first time in forever on Tuesday. My sides are definitely less lumpy and I’m having an easier time moving around in general. I am still sleeping in the foam and compression garment and I’m wearing Spanx during the day. So happy I had this done!

Thank so so much for posting an update! what advice did your surgeon give you about working out? I’m curious about when you can do ab exercises. you look absolutely fantastic! best wishes for continued positive healing!

Doing great. Starting to feel like a normal person. Sides are still very stiff o feel bumps here and there, but overall it is totally worth it. Swelling has gone down, but still not back to “normal”.
